Not just hiring more people, hiring them to the detriment of his existing staff. The reason Callum left was because he was being overworked and never had a wage increase.
Damn. Guess I missed that drama.

Callum was a good boy. Glad he's out of Don Sargoon's influence, he was starting to get more and more extreme as the podcast went on.

Josh Ferme and John Wheatley were some of my favorites too. I think Josh left right as they brought in that big eared pipsqueak.

Its understandable, he hasn't said anything of this publicly but based on what I've seen him say (and I think he is truthworthy) it happens a lot at Lotus Eaters. Getting more orbiters for Sargon is seemingly more important than rewarding the staff doing the hard work and creating the content people want.

Ah, good ol' Carl, going down the cult leader/"modern company head" path.

What fucking year is it?
Sargon is arguing with some faggot on Twitter about his suit

internet aristocrats?
It’s been how many years since Metokur made the Applebees joke when Carlgon was with UKIP and it still bothers him. He could have just said “A suit joke in 2024? Really?” It’s amazing how both he and Ralph hold on to one thing Jim said to base their entire hatred of him on.

Sargon posted a video going over how Rhodesia was betrayed by the West. He argues that the West cared about equality so much that they allowed the prosperous nation of Rhodesia to fall to the communists.

It got me thinking about why Western powers sanctioned Rhodesia. A brief search uncovered that it had to do with decolonization. Rhodesia was governed by a white minority due to the requirement of property rights in order to vote as well as laws to ensure a white majority in government office holders. The country was supposed to transfer to majority rule before independence, but Rhodesia refused and declared independence on its own in 1965.

The UN Security Council sanctioned the unrecognized state as a result.

It doesn’t seem so surprising to me why the West would sanction such a country. There were demands for racial equality in the US, anti-colonial sentiments in the UK and France. Here we have an African country ruled by about 5-7% of the population, living exclusively in the southern part of the country. No shit that would piss people off in Rhodesia and abroad.

It’s no wonder that the native black population would rise up in revolt. A bunch of people living in a distant land dictating what’s best for you? It’s what started the American Revolution. It’s what Sargon and his ilk complain about with Western elites.

Rhodesia failed because Charles Rhodes did not see the writing on the wall of his lodge freemason "brothers". He still believed he could negotiate and make a deal with the most subversive secret society of mankind. His ideals were alien to the lodges that wanted fullblown world republicanism for manipulation of masses. But he was kept on the hook because weakening the Boer through war was a bonus.

Racial solidarity in misery in South Africa, diversity and wealth leeching in Europe.

I think he understands why it happened, and is just trying to say it was really gay to treat Rhodesia like it was South Africa (a fair point) and is himself being gay and British about it.

Rhodesia was betrayed by the West.
Can Carl or any of the other far right grifter faggots explain why the 'West' is expected to automatically owe loyalty to Rhodesia, He's once again just copying what people in his circle have been saying for years. I have seen the same thread trying to justify its excistence every few months on twitter, exact same arguements and 'evidence'. No new ideas or any ideas of his own just monkey see monkey do type thinking.

Since I'm not a far-right grifter faggot, all I can do is guess on it.

I think it's because Rhodesia is THE best example for "look how the huwites came in and made everything better, and the darkies fucked it all up." While arguments can be made for the other colonies the Brits had, a lot of that falls flat in a kinda "yeah, the Brits did some good here, but they fucked is over in multiple other ways."
However, Rhodesia's history is probably the most straightforward one can get with regards to "Europeans came and made life better for everyone in the region. There's a reason they come back to how "it was the breadbasket of Africa" and how after Mugabe drove the white farmers away/killed them, the whole country got fucked to hell to the point they are now a net-importer.
I don't think any other Brit colony can be pointed to that follows the Rhodesia/Zimbabwe downfall. Sure there's other former colonies that are shitholes (India, South Africa, Canada, the UK), but each of those has still shown growth and development of some form or the other. Zimbabwe, however had to eat crow (because they sure has hell couldn't eat food.) Rhodesia (and MAYBE Hong Kong and Singapore) are probably the only examples the British colonization project was a positive thing rather than a grey area or even a negative.

Rhodesia was only a positive because the British had contests with the Dutch population and couldnt go all-in like they did in India.

Does anyone remember that video someone made where they photoshopped Sargon's head on an ISIS execution video and he's just ranting about Liberalistism? Does anyone have a copy?
