It's a well known phenomenon among weed smokers that in many cases a person doesn't actually get stoned their first time smoking. I'm not sure if there's any consensus on why.

I never personally have done pot so I don't know if ego death can come of it, but I may have said way earlier in this thread that Fatrick needed to get on drugs and suffer it because the meltdown and/or realization would be monumental.
