the narrative that antis are bad artists isn't necessarily true, big artists are also anti AI simply because AI will lower the demand for their work. Will people pay for art still? Sure, but people won't be as desperate to buy anything from an artist if AI is cheap and consistently good.

Yeah, 'good enough' is what businesses look for most of the time. Plenty of skilled artists working for studios will probably be shifted from producing original artworks to fixing AI images as it's much faster than them drawing something up from scratch.
I'd rather have mediocre AI art than that eldritch "Corporate Memphis" garbage.

The people who likes to coom to ai-generated waifus/husbandos can be very particular about the quality of the generated images. They can also be willing to invent whole original characters untied to any one existing work just to coom on.
Do these people know that it doesn't really matter since the amount of art uploaded daily is so massive that their art won't even be discernable even after months of training?
Chances are people can reverse engineer a prompt for a specific artists artstyle in the future.
I have zero sympathy for anyone who uses xitter and don't even think they're human tbh. I hope Elon harvests the fuck out of them, then we can gas them all but still have an AI to simulate a subhuman retard if for some reason we want one.
