I became close friends with a girl at school last year, i made it clear that i use he/him and i use the name Max. About one month in, she started not using my chosen name and totally switched up. I passed it off as a mistake and we kept being friends, this still persists to this day.

She deadnames me everytime she says my name, she often suggests i wear more girly clothes (e.g, If i’m wearing pants with an outfit she suggests it’d be cuter with a skirt, or suggests i wear makeup.) I don’t know if this is on purpose but it does bother me.

She also likes very anti trans instagram reels, they come up on my feed pretty often saying she liked them. Or she sends me videos that are making fun of disabled people, i usually respond with “that’s genuinely sad” and she just goes “lmao” back ??

she does other things i don’t like too but they’re completely unrelated to me being trans so i won’t include them here. I’m seriously considering no longer being friends with her but i just wanted some other opinions on this.

No answers yet, but I think this will be one to revisit soon.

BASED. lol this lil pooner will force herself to look this girl up in ten years and wish she would’ve listened to her friend. The friend will have a career, a family, a couple of kids with a husband who loves her and carries the majority of the bills while she works part time cutting hair or something. AITAH for calling my boobs meatballs?

I'm a transmasc, and I don't like to refer to my own boobs as boobs or anything like that because it's dysphoric.

I was talking to someone about a pain I had between my breasts, and I said it was on my chest and she assumed that I meant on the actual boob. So to explain I said "between the.." and then was trying to think of a word to say instead of boob. I ended up saying meatball (as in, the boob is round and made of meat).

She said that it was sexist to call it that. I said it wasn't because I was referring to my own body with that word, not other peoples', and she said it was still sexist because other people have those parts too.

Do you ever just forget you're plural for a bit?

I wasn't sure where to post this but... I dunno if it's tics or what, but sometimes I'll have these things where part of my body jerk uncontrollably. It's usually my head jerking to the side and sometimes I'll make a weird noise when doing it too. It kinda feels like a bubbly-fizzy feeling in my head and then it jerks, usually hurts, and then I'm fine again.

Happening for a while, maybe for 4 years? But could be longer, I just don't really remember much from that long ago.

It's not always my head but it's usually that, sometimes my hand slamming into the wall or punching my knee. It's never a repetitive thing. And sometimes I notice the head thing will happen and stop it by just moving my head a bit, which makes me feel like it's not that bad or isn't really cause I've never had a really bad one in front of people that aren't my family.

I made a post on Reddit a year or two or maybe even three years ago on an old account. I don't remember what the account name could've been. The title was something along the lines of "i let pedophiles have child nudes", and the post was about how, at the time, a year ago I was molested by a load of pedophiles online and sent them loads of nudes. In the post I would've been really guilty and blaming myself. The molesting happened on Snapchat - I probably mentioned that.

I can empathize with people suffering from body dysmorphia and having problems with self-hatred, but what I've never understood about, well people in general I suppose, but especially trannies, is the complete disregard for other people. How can you go out into the world smelling like shit and garbage, how does that ease your problem with self-esteem or perception? If anything, willingly going out in public to make others nauseous, uncomfortable, or afraid... Unless they're not actually suffering with these issues and they get off, psychologically or sexually, on taking up space and making people wary and disgusted.
Like for AGPs part of the fetish with going into women's spaces and talking to them about periods and pads is the danger they make women feel, the real danger that they pose, (Reduxx Link).
