if this has been going on for years in multiple places, has she ever been counseled that she is incapable of independent living? many elderly, chronically infirm, the mentally unwell/challenged, and impoverished take advantage of the myriad of available programs (costing billions of dollars, efficient or not) that provide assisted living, supervised living, and semi-independent housing to people that have difficulties with maintaining healthy independent lifestyles.
this is assuming any of it is real in any capacity (her fault or not).
also how does one get to nearly $1500 in utility costs? that's easily half a year - but if she's not running appliances or consuming water/gas/electricity with refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, heaters, air conditioning, et c because they're all broken and non-functional (she's begged for money for replacements repeatedly), then how are her utilities that high?

I completely get wanting bottled water or soft drink if you live in a place where the tap water is technically drinkable, but foul tasting. God knows I've been there. Crappy old houses always have crappy old plumbing, but you have to live somewhere.
That's where cheap cordial comes in. In my country at least, a 1L bottle of Cottee's is the equivalent of a couple litres of soft drink, but unless you're drinking the Cottee's neat, it's going to last you a hell of a lot longer than the soft drink. If you've had a good fortnight and have a couple extra dollars in your pocket, you can even treat yourself to the good stuff with fancier flavours, like the Bickford's. (Pink Lemonade and Lemon Lime and Bitters flavours are highly recommended).

That was the part that got to me as well, especially since she's talking about multiple apartments.
My mom is a hoarder/slob and when I was growing up, and while it was often difficult for more than one person to be in the kitchen simultaneously, it was never too cluttered that cooking was impossible. Particularly not the sort of boiling pasta or nuking something in the microwave type of "cooking" that person in the post is clearly doing.

Hi, I'm an average humble fruit farmer with a few requests if you're willing to help. I'd like someone to bring me fresh fruits and vegetables every few days (we do go through them a lot) as well as grass fed and finished beef (steaks, burger, etc.), free range chicken and eggs and my preferred brand and flavors of Greek yogurt (no Dannon or Yoplait please). It would need to be delivered to me since some days I don't feel like running errands. Also, if you have theater tickets, we enjoy going! Of course I could buy these things myself or adjust my dietary wants but why should I when there are retards out there throwing money away?
