Look, even if Braier is a faggot, there's no way this interview is playing well. She has done awful in ultra-friendly territory. Her first interview with Dana Bash was basically a collection of soft-ball questions, yet she fucked it up royally. She did another awful interview that went better but better meant "completely irrelevant" (we only got the McDonald's clip from it, which shows how much in-sync both of them were). Fox, has been denouncing these interviews for two months now, so unless they want boomers to stop watching their network, they'll need to come off a little bit tougher onto Kamala.

I think the guy from 60 Minutes did his job properly, but the network helped Kamala with the editing. I don't think Fox is that stupid to completely rig the interview so that Kamala comes off as a smart person and suddenly all RINOs support her.

They were openly accusing him of election fraud, constantly. "The left lost Ohio cause he redirected all the votes to a server he runs," screamed people who project more than a 4k Ultra HD goon cave's media center pc.

I think one of the unironic blessings and those silly second order knockon effects the left doesn't believe in is the fact that everyone on the right had to learn optics, to learn to speak "lefty" to avoid being purged from polite digital society.

It means the right learned how to play the optics game, to temper their words, at least on some level. Yes it let the left gain cultural inroads they shouldn't have -- for example, many people actually believe gender is a thing that exists, even on the right -- but at the same time, the left didn't have to do that. No matter how badshit, how "kill whitey," "men should be forced to get a vasectomy at 13 and should only be allowed to get it undone with the approval of 3 non-family member women," "I am a woman cause I say so and my body has a penis therefore it's a WOMAN'S PENIS," style takes they shat out, they were never slapped down, except from the right, who did so in the most milquetoast way possible.

What that means is the right knows how to speak normie. The left... doesn't anymore. They have no idea "it was only a little plagarism" or "it was only a few apartment complexes taken over by armed foreign national gangs" doesn't exactly come across as... sane to people.

I remain skeptical about Virginia actually being in play. It’s not outside the realm of possibilities, but that’s a Trump dream scenario IMO.

That said, if the numbers are scary enough to force Kamala to devout significant resources there, that’s still a Trump win, as it takes away from her ability to focus on the key swings that she needs to win the election.

I think the reason it endures is, in part, due to the underlying humor in the imagery behind it.

Much like how we went to town with the Tim Walz Horse Cum meme, there’s a certain satisfaction in propagating something that’s ridiculously funny, even if it’s patently false. If it had been Walz who was being accused of fucking his couch, we obviously would’ve had fun with that for a while, even if we knew it probably wasn’t true.

The only difference here is we understand that when something is truly false, the meme eventually needs to die so that more effective and truthful attack angles can be used. And we actually understood that the Tim Walz Horse Cum meme was a product of fantasy. The people pushing the Vance Couch Fucking meme actually believe it wholeheartedly, so they won’t let it go because they think it’s a substantial attack that can change minds. Problem is, by treating something that’s been thoroughly debunked as the gospel, they only hurt their own credibility to outside observers.
