Strange town hall by Trump, after a second person fainted he just asked his team to play Ave Maria, It's Hard to Say Goodbye and YMCA. He also said "nobody wants to hear questions". I wonder what his thought process was here.

Apparently it was hot and they had to open the doors since there was poor ventilation and no A/C. They have been just playing songs so far, now it's Hallelujah. Nobody is leaving though and everyone is listening to music with Trump.

Everyone stayed to vibe with him.

EDIT: Now they are playing Purple Rain, I was weirded out at first but now it feels extremely wholesome.

Based on the part of "We can't understand what Kamletoe is saying..." with her wish dot com Kylo Ren speech, I seriously rethought something.

Remember when liberals were doing photoshops and laughing at Trump for saying that coyotes bring people across the border.

We all assumed they were being deliberately obtuse.

Maybe they aren't.

Maybe they are actually stupider than we thought. More naive.

Maybe they literally thought that Trump meant actually coyotes carrying kids across the border.

They not only fail the breakfast question, but they are pure literalists.
Nah, we're at "I BET it was Thwump who paid those coyotes" and going ACKSHULLY it was the Wupublicans who said that.
You can't hate liberals enough.

I don't have much faith in a system that is demonstrably proven to be fake and gay. The only people hurt by this (domestic Americans) are inert and demoralized from what I've seen, so any meaningful change seems unlikely.

If you aren't comfortably above water now, and have no feasible options for a promotion (or just a better job), you'll probably be living a lot like your ancestors did in the 1920's: trying to figure out how to balance not starving with not having the law crush you for fun/profit.
I can get a modest raise if I go back to school and get my paramedic, which I'm enrolling for currently. Downside is that I'll have to cut my hours working to handle the clinicals, which are a pretty brutal unpaid 800 hours. I should be able to knock it out in 18-24 months. The whole degree is relatively inexpensive at 8-10k. It's doable, but I'm not going to have a whole lot of luxury or leisure for a few years.

It'll be hard as fuck, but even if I'm stressed, I'm not dooming. The future is bright because I'm going to make it bright, even if I've got to fight for it. Miss me with the pessimism. Complaints are valid, defeat is gay. Chin up.

I thought "the disabled" covered that.

Black man reading:

god, i hate niggers

Nothing personal, but Massachusetts has been a lost cause for eons. Hell, it was the only state to go for George McGovern in the 1972 49-state blowout for crying out loud (although it at least went for Reagan in the 1984 49-state blowout).

What I don't understand is how Republicans like Mittens Romney and Bill Weld (the most anodyne, milquetoast Republicans) get elected governor over there. Were the Democrat opposition just that awful?
oh its not personal, i know my states an absolute shithole, as to how fags like Romney and Baker get elected its mostly Boomers in the countryside away from shitholes like Boston that just shrug accept what they are given for shit candidates, there are Trump supporters (I saw a few rallying in my town in fact a few days ago), but they have no voice due to the hordes of liberals and immigration

This is the same empty plateau that career politicians (Democrat and Republicans) always say during election time without going into details.

That said, now Trump has left the stage but he is saying hello to the attendants, probably signing autographs. There were a total of three questions asked in total, they played music and just relaxed but the whole thing, including the two people fainting, is strange. I wonder if there was a security concern, health concern, who knows...

Will look forward to if there is any explanation, so far the only other remarkable thing that happened is that he accidentaly said Jan 5th instead of November 5th which has already been clipped by Kamala as part of her "Donald Trump has dementia" schtick.

Since it's Trump and the questions were kinda same-y, I wonder if he got bored and said, "let's just have a concert instead".

I can't possibly imagine how bad it is for people that have no marketable or niche experience.
With inflation being 20% over the past four years, I know people who are paid decently for what they do still feeling lucky they're somehow staying afloat financially yet unsure how much longer they can hang on if something doesn't change soon. Those in this situation that are part of the Vote Blue No Matter Who Crowd simply figure the government will intervene with some sort of handout, subsidy, etc. for them.

Like @Your Girlfriend's Dad, I feel most for those who live paycheck to paycheck through no fault of their own and find themselves one missed check away from financial disaster if the economy doesn't markedly improve in the next 4 years.

Funny thing: Certain states and cities have tried various combinations of these ideas only to have them not be as successful as hoped or outright fail. A number of recreational marijuana shops have struggled even if gross sales increase each year because cities end up allowing too many of them for all of them to be viable and compete with each other. In addition, too many black people still distrust the medical profession no matter how much they're encouraged or incentivized to see the doctor for routine medical care let alone anything major. Furthermore, loans with no strings attached and no need to be repaid essentially become free money that gets spent on anything but business operations most of the time - leading to businesses that never really get off the ground due to lack of capital, sustainable sales, and profits to ensure a going concern.

This does mean she's planning to set aside up to 20 billion for, effectively, reparations.
This certainly sounds like a sneaky way to provide reparations without calling them such. Unless the behavior of the target group of minorities changes to where they're both willing and able to be productive members of society, none of these initiatives will work and it will merely be the next of example of large-scale government waste.

Today, I received a political call that I first thought was prerecorded. It turned out to be an actual person saying that they noticed I hadn't yet cast a ballot in the upcoming election and then she subsequently encouraged me to vote for an unfamiliar Republican in a state/local race. When she asked if she could count on my vote, she seemed surprised, if not taken aback, when I didn't give her a direct answer and I instead told her I'd be voting in person and I had no need for a mail-in ballot. Maybe I'm reading too much into the call, but two things about it concerned me immediately after I hung up:
  1. That people from either main party are pushing vote by mail so aggressively.
  2. That these political groups are checking public voter information to target those who haven't and likely won't request early/absentee ballots. If I was into conspiracy theories, I'd question if they want to pressure voters into making uninformed choices by voting now - 3 weeks before Election Day - or if it's a way to gauge any potential election fraud or ballot box stuffing.
I swear each presidential election is a worse experience than all the prior ones put together sometimes. I can't wait for the wild ride to be over. *sigh* 🤡

yes
if you want to not make slam dunks because you feel they cheapen the game good for you, loser. your loss will be noted
the rules include it and the GOP isn't fucking around on MUH IDEAL so much this time

yes they exactly are
it has been said plainly and exactly by Trump campaign people - in any district it's legal they're seeing who's registered GOP and not voted despite early and mail-in and calling to remind the ones who are likely to put it off
they are openly and specifically advocating that you vote early so they don't have to waste time and money keeping your ass on the fire and at the polls

I get soo fucking mad at this.

The covid bux were inflationary

Money is flawed as then it has two uses

1. store of value

2. unit of exchange

Constantly increasing the amount of dollars in circulation fucks things

If I remember the Trump camp made an ad out of Clinton's migrant vetting comment within minutes.

Speedchess with gotcha soundbyes is the name of game now

What? Are they pissed that the rape scene isn't 20 minutes long?
Ignoring the rape that never happened, it apparently portrays Trump as a determined fighter never giving up and ultimately getting what he wants.

I’ve heard non-crazy people liking it and Trump in it.

Probably a case of some left wing lunatic being so out of touch, that he inadvertently made a character that makes normal people go: “Wow, he’s pretty cool!”

Haven’t seen it though so take it with a grain of salt.
