To be honest, I'm feeling VERY cautiously optimistic about the coming election because if Haris despite her campaign falling apart and being harder to rally behind by every time she puts her face up for people to see and still somehow (by cheating) wins, then I'd say it's fairly safe to assume that any amount of seriousness America even has left would be gone and dusted to pretty much anyone on the other side of the globe who already wasn't already an ally that has a pretty real chance to flip sides depending on how badly Kamala fucks over the US. If Trump is able to get it in the bag, at best he might be able to undo a lot of the damage Biden and Haris inflicted on the US and at the very worst will just keep the US on life support for his term until Vance or someone else like him could get in.

It certainly is an interesting thought experiment. While Biden is a better people person(most of the time), the pressure and hectic schedule(even with him doing far less than Trump), combined with the likely medical issues, could have had him rapidly degrade.

Very true. Even if he seems to bumble a lot, he does know how to naturally react and work a crowd. Kamala Harris looks so profoundly uncomfortable.

Historically, the sitting president always has the home field advantage. All Biden would really have to do is go "do you really want Trump to interrupt what I've been doing for the past 4 years?" and, quite frankly, that would work with a lot of voters. Now, instead, it's some nervous, incompetent dipshit who desperately wants to be a theater kid but gets nervous and spills spaghetti when she has a one-line bit part.
