The campaign has their own booth setup. people annoy you to vote everyday randomly. Biden's profile (old, experienced, white politician from the rust belt) gives him an innate head start over Kamala.
There's a lot of people, such as Union Workers, who are perfectly fine with Weimarica as long as it has an old white guy as a figurehead, but the second it's led by an annoying black woman from CA they all immediately turn on it.
Another thing to note is that the "appeal" of Biden, mainly to young people, was that you never saw him. His 2020 election was billed with the idea of "Make Politics Boring Again", and that once Trump was out of office we could go back to the good ol' Obama years where the only thing that mattered was Black Ops 2 and Gangam Style. A time where nobody knew anything about politics except for the name of the President and sometimes the VP. Well, Trump has been out of office, that didn't happen, and now his opponent isn't the boring old white guy that was Obama's VP.
