Good take. Hopefully he took something from rehab and realizes how powerless he was over drugs. Failing piss tests that your freedom depends on is obvious enough testament to that. Secondly grasping how unmanageable his life has been, not just because of the drugs, in general. Smashing up your room, beating your dad, owing tons of strangers money, jail, rehab, and I'm sure there is lots more.
I'm hopeful that he was able to grasp step one and really take it in. However, knowing Austin he probably just treated it all as a joke and played around at every group and wasn't honest in 1 on 1 sessions. Like I said before, some people have to learn the hard way over and over, only then will they be ready to change.

Austin is pretty sure he is good with the courts. He didn't get kicked out of rehab for using drugs, but for something else.

I really wonder why he can’t state the reason for being kicked out of rehab but can clarify it wasn’t for drug use. Is it because the rehab is just gonna say he did such an amazing job, better than anyone ever, that they concluded he needed no more help? I could see them telling him that he gets to go home so long as he gets out of their hair and stops annoying the patients who actually want to change, and that they’ll just tell the court he did an amazing job. They know he streams, so I’m sure they’d tell him to not admit that since it could get everyone involved in legal trouble and risk their licenses.

Probably something embarrassing. Lucky for him HIPAA prevents them from sharing.

All they can say is that he was discharged unsuccessfully and did not complete their program. Will not look good.

You're digging into it way too much, mate. It's just Boglim's Razor: the most retarded explanation is usually the correct one. Bossman is an insufferable asshole who got kicked out for disrupting the recovery of other addicts and knows he's in trouble if the prosecutors find out.

I have started on one but never finished it. Part of it is just pure lazyness, the other part is that it's just fucking disgusting and I'd rather watch a bunch of pajeets being hit by trains if I want to be grossed out and laugh at the same time.

Lucky for us he did not go to a rehab, it wasn't a medical facility, no medical staff work there, and no disease or treatment was given. You can even see all their paperwork as they are a 501c.

He went to a sober retreat where they had constant AA meetings led by junkies.

They have no licensed therapists, doctors, nurses, etc at all on staff?
How do they regulate their "guests" medications?
This seems like a place to go to AFTER rehab but before a sober living/half way house.
edit: this seems like a disaster from the get go as so many drug addicts also have undiagnosed/untreated mental illnesses.
