Containment Random Chris Updates

Just a thought, so speculation alert.

If this guy really did go through all the effort of hacking into Chris's PSN account to leak these logs, it might be understandable why @Null wouldn't want to chime in to validate the receipts. Null doesn't encourage people to commit cyber crimes, and post the results here for a quick laugh.

If the receipts were unconvincing, this whole conversation wouldn't be worth having. Seems odd forum staff wouldn't dispel the whole thing if the guy didn't have receipts.

It's just someone going through Chris' PS3 after buying it, and he's making as many excuses as possible to avoid saying so because he doesn't want Chris and whoever else handled it to follow the trail back to him.
You've already shown data from the PS3's hard drive that would only exist locally, not remotely. It didn't come from a server leak. You have his hard drive and the decryption keys for it because you have his entire PS3.

You should just dump an image of the whole hard drive and the EID root key and upload it somewhere. There's nothing in it that will incriminate you unless you did something retarded like log into your own account after getting it. And even then, you know enough that you could just delete that data.

With how the PS3 works I'm pretty sure they'd have to be sitting on the PS3 for years. In 2020 the messaging system was changed and it effectively prevented users from using the messaging system all together. Additionally the messages on PS3 weren't like modern messaging systems, as far as I remember they were stored locally on the PS3 back then, not on Sony's servers, so to have a message I think it'd have to be the PS3 that sent it or a PS3 that received it back then.

This really takes me back to when PS3 was big, man I miss those days.
Just to follow up on this, after checking, I'm pretty sure they'd have to have those messages from the ps3 that received or sent them.

I dug up my PS3 to check. My account was made in 2011, I was a really active user, and never deleted messages. However back in 2015ish my ps3 broke. I bought a new one in 2017 because I wanted to play MGS4. Checking my 2017 ps3 I only had messages from 2017 onward, and couldn't recover any pre 2017 messages.

This means they'd need to have the original console, or a console that received the message.

Edit: sorry fucked up and didn't write "that received the message"

Nothing you said is correct. Nothing relevant changed in 2020. Read my previous post. There is no way of recovering an IM after being destroyed from storage as a user.

Sorry double checked because I remember having to use the PSN App on my phone to message after then. I was thinking of the removal of PS3 to PS4 messaging I didn't realize it still allowed PS3 to PS3 messages. This was an event from years ago about a console I scarcely played so I didn't realize it still allowed some forms of messaging.

Forum post about the change

Does anybody know of any confirmed CWC PS3 chatlogs? Does he normally capitalize random letters? Has he ever spelled "right away" as "right-away"?

What is the advantage of leaking these bit by bit? Why not just do a gigadump and vanish, like most leakers?

You've acknowledged that you somehow hold a copy of Chris's PS3 data through some unspecified means, which is where these messages come from. Making dumps of entire drives is incredibly easy if you know what you're doing and given the age of the data you have your hands on, is probably the #1 thing you should be doing instead of putting the fucking thing into a live console potentially putting any data on it at risk of being lost to the sands of time. What is preventing you or your "source" from making a complete dump of everything on the disk and then posting its contents on the internet?

I'm not trying to be offensive or insult you, but you really don't know how this works.
Its a valid question. You've been spanning this leak out over the course of a few days and are posting little bits and snippets.

Whether you pulled these off some hard drive that had been sitting in the fetid basement of 14BLC for nearly 15 years, or pulled them Chris's PSN account is irrelevant. Usually, when these leaks occur, 99% of them are just boring junk. The Mr. Beast logs, the Hillary Wikileaks emails, etc. A volume of content is harder to fake, and brings some level of validity to a leak. Its a little sus that you've posted such a limited scope of information, most of which is "damning" stuff. It leads one to believe that you've spent a decent amount of time on everything you posted, possibly doctored.

I'm genuinely trying to give you the benefit of the doubt. There have been many Chris related hoaxes ever since the Barbcest saga unraveled.

I can imagine Chris saying yes to someone asking him "Chrissy can I do a backup data transfer of your ps3 data onto my ps3 to preserve Christory?"

So does the source also have access to Chris’s PS4/5 accounts, as they are connected, or did Chris just use a new account for each console?

Where'd you get my real picture from? Anyway, I've already made my point very clearly, but I'll spell it out for you because you don't seem to understand:

I've presented the information. It's up to you decide if it's fake or real, and if it's real, decide what its meaning is. I already gave my opinion, which isn't worth anything anyways.
Bro, you're going haywire.

We will always ask for legitimate proof of anything you provide. In this case a chat log archive.

Chris used the same account, named Sonichu.
So it’s definitely from the actual data of the PS3, that can be seen from everything else unless it’s just flat out faked. @friendofcoal is either someone going out of their way to deploy extremely autistic gayops, or if this is all to be believed, could be the person tasked by whatever “source” they mention to recover data from the HDD of the PS3 itself, as they do seem to have a good grasp of the technical side of the console. I’m betting on fake and gay until more comes out.

It does seem kind of bizarre, something I've noticed that I find odd is that it isn't a set of sent and received messages. It's two received messages one from Chris' pov one from the kid's pov.

Notice the fact they both have the option to reply, a message you've sent doesn't have that, additionally they each say.

The kid would have to also had to take a picture of the message. Also, and this is quite an out there observation that is probably wrong, but it looks like the glare on the screen is in the same general place. With one big glare being in the top left corner, and then a second being diagonally down and right of the first.

It's a lot fainter on the "From Sonichu" image, with the centre of the first being slightly offscreen and then the second glare being left of the "Soo..." in Chris' message. Looks like it could just be the background, but it might be glare blending in a bit.

I was looking around to see if something that'd produce glare like that would be in Chris' room, but it's really hard to tell.

Edit: something that does owe these some authenticity as PSeye images, aside from being noisy as hell, is that the image is 640x480, which is the PSeye's resolution.

Dude you’re weird. Your behavior is extremely suspect and very odd. Your throwing random usernames under the bus for some reason. You say a massive info dump is ”not how this works.” if it’s as uninteresting as you say this is then just upload it. Nobody is going to fucking put you on the cross for dumping some mildly interesting personal data into Chris’s past.

Unless you are some bad actor with ill intentions.

My question (which you can’t seem to answer even after being asked MULTIPLE times) is how did you come about this data?

This friendofacoal is probably some recent ween maybe from teen troon squad or some other nonames that have trolled chris not too long ago and hung out with in person.
