What would happen if both canidates die before the election, with days to go? Is there any way for Congress or whoever to make, like, a special election or something?
The usual process for replacing a candidate post-nomination. Mostly it goes to the DNC/RNC - the rules differ between the two parties. What should happen then is they instruct their electors to vote for the new ticket and there you go. It would all just kind of work out assuming there's not a full blown civil war raging at that point.

With days to go I imagine they'd just bump the VP candidate upwards and nominate a new VP candidate. But this is all crazytown.

Yeah, everytime I see some doom poster going on about a civil war it gives me some feelings. Like the constant doomposting is annoying as fuck and these niggers need to go outside and get some fresh air.
And it's not even that it's doomposting. It's simply unrealistic given America's extremely high standard of living and economic strength.

Can we safely name Kamala as the worst presidential """candidate""" ever yet? Not even Mondale was ever this bad.

If she loses, it is going to be interesting to see how the shills will cope. I suspect there'll be a few days of, everyone knew it. How could the Dems put her up. Followed immediately with major Trump arrangement 24/7

Genuinely ... What do you do at this point if you're working for the Harris campaign? Yikes.

Ah, I quite like Suicide is Painless. Not for the lyrics, that's just teenage edgelordery, but for the fact that you can pitch it up an octave and pretend Alvin and the Chipmunks are encouraging you to kill yourself.

The major reoccurring rumors is that Harris is absolutely smashed, that things have been thrown, that she has threatened to fire people left and right, and that is accusing basically every person in charge of her campaign of setting her up.

I know people make jokes about the Evil Overlord list but I think Kamala could actually benefit from reading it.

Should have allowed that open convention, (D)imocrats.
It's honestly appalling. She's everything they said Trump would be in an interview: She rambles incoherently, she has no idea what she's talking about, clearly only has a handful of pre-prepared responses to any question or situation, and deflects constantly.

That interview was especially bad because you can visibly see on her face that she doesn't know how to respond to something unless she can connect it back to Trump.

Super late getting to the trainwreck. TBH I think the most telling part was when Bret pointed out that half of the electorate feels like Trump's messaging resonates with them to at least some level and that her endless kvetching about Trump is essentially sending the message that she regards an entire half of the country as idiots. Like, you're lagging in virtually every swing state lady, you need to WIN some of those people over.

She reminds me so much of Trudeau it's nauseating. How can you look at that condescending faggot being 20 points down in the polls and think the winning strategy is to cart out his mystery meat female clone?

The one issue I have is the interview wasn't long enough. Imagine how insane a proper hour or hour and a half interview would have been. This was the first real interview harris has done ever. Everything up to this point has been softballs, and the first real interview is a trainwreck. All she could do was implode right in front of people's eyes. Her staff literally had to cut it short because she was on the verge of exploding! Another five minutes and we would have seen some shit.
I think the campaign insisted ahead of time on the interview being capped at like half and hour and even then she showed up late. The entire strategy was to filibustermaxx and run out the clock, and even then she needed her staff to shepard-crook her out of there.

In most states, if you work 40 hours a week for minimum wage, you make too much money to apply. It's a punishment for young people that are attempting to contribute to society while being a rewards for niggardly behavior. After the public antics of Ol' Dirty Bastard and Charleston White, you'd think people would have noticed by now.

And it's all by design. The goals is to make everyone reliant on the government so you can finally own nothing and be happy.
“I’ll have those niggers voting Democrat for 200 years…”

The Democrats are in a very, very real Catch 22. If you hide her in the basement, then it's going to depress voter turnout and harm the down ballot races for the Dems. If you continue this media blitz, it's going to reflect poorly on the entire Democrat party because she's a unlikable bitch with no plan whatsoever.
At this point I would let her flail in the wind and lose. Rigging will be too obvious at this point, even if they do some KGB levels of narrative control (which I don't think is impossible considering how 2020 went.) The uppity skwad of negro ladies who are persistently a problem for old, establishment democrats will have to accept being black and female will never win them an election. Everyone goes to business as usual framing Trump the way they did from 2016 - 2020, then actually bother to prepare someone likable for 2028.

Yah I agree here. There is something fucky in the House of Harris

This is not normal pol behaviour, lying is like breathing to a Pol so Harris, whose been in the game for decades should have zero issues with it but yet here we are.

Are we sure someone behind the scenes in the DNC really, really does not want a Harris Administration? To the point they/them are pushing bad advice and poor tactics?

Very odd indeed
Trump pulled a reverse pied piper in 2020. He had an old friend who's campagin he had previously supported who sucked and fucked her way to the top and was incompetent but otherwise good people. He has them run as a token minority candidate and then bully Joe Biden using the most generic "pick me or your racist and sexist" threats and somehow it actually worked. Politics, Wrestling, and Business live or die on kayfabe.

Maybe Kamala Harris isn't bad at her job. Maybe she's really fucking good at it.

Ana Kasparian didn't like Bret Baier's interview style.
Neither did I. You can very easily frame it as a hit piece. The problem, of course, is that makes Brett look like a mastermind and Kamala look like a poor defenseless woman... while running for the most prominent, decision-making, chessmaster role in the world.

This interview really only matters to the Rinos watching fox. Nobody on the left will be watching.
What this was, was a perfect way to show any RINOs who  might have been persuaded by Cheney and all the Republicans endorsing Harris that she is a buffoon. Forget the left, the RINOs are the ones watching Fox News, and any advantage she had from turncoat R Benedict Arnold's has just gone up in smoke.

What -I- do not get is her refusal to talk policy. That is clearly the point of the media blitz but she just. never. does. And it is not a -lack- of policy either, she can bullshit whatever the hell she wants. hell she could cite her "80 points" verbatim. No. this is purely a Harris issue. The woman just cannot get policy out, my best guess is her mind just utterly blanks as soon as it comes up
I am really starting to think that they're worried she'll fuck it up. She might actually be on instruction to not address anything, because of how this habit she has of just stating stuff in the most offputting way possible, much less any explicit gaffes. Kamala's the type to make tax cuts sound bad, much less when she flubs it and describes a ruinous tax policy for the middle class by going 'off the cuff'.

I cannot imagine how badly internal interview workshopping went for them to conclude that saying fuck and all is better than letting her play it by ear.

that being said i legit would not be surprised if he croaks within a year of being out of office.
Nah, modern medicines pretty good and he's basically got a blank healthcare check for the rest of his life. His mind might slip, but he'll probably go to a hundred like ole Jimmy.
