Mega Rad Gun Thread

I’d still probably just switch to my pistol for room clearing. My main reason is I don’t want to spend the coin to get another light lol.
A Streamlight is cheaper than an M9 bayonet by hundreds of dollars, and only about 20 ish dollars more than a surplus M7. I have a light for my pistols, and a light for my rifles.

Edit: You can find CR123's for cheap on Amazon, just get those and be prepared to maybe swap them out every month, but at around 1.00 per, who cares, stack 'em deep.

Surefire even makes rechargeable versions.

They're a'ight. Not cheap though.

I know a guy who owns a gun store during summer of love, he had a break in... Used a DPMS AR. Dude you have an entire store but that's the go to?
Eh - it'll go bang when needed and do the job, while not being something you'll cry too much about when the cops seize it for an indeterminate amount of time.

It's best to consider it gone forever if it's actually used for real shit. I've met a guy with experience of seized firearms and it took a year and a half for the guy to get it back, and it wasn't even a situation to have been worried about(crazy bitch girlfriend lied to cops when she was being kicked out of his apartment). 1K is a small price to maybe pay in order not to die, but also do keep in mind that many things can be avoided, such as people that'd make false phone calls.

I don't drink, or smoke, because I'm not cool like that. But that doesn't stop me from making bad wallet decisions at 2AM.

How does it perform? The price tag is what turns me away, I remember when semi PKMs were only 10k and you got a crate with them but good luck even finding a parts kit now. Everyone shits on semi LMGs but try owning a full auto MG3 in 7.62x51 in current year and tell me how fun the ammo cost is. 5.56 full auto is more affordable but the point still stands.

Haven't shot it too much, as it's more like, a trophy piece; something you take out once or twice, and put on the wall to admire. Keep it well lubricated and not be stupid with it, and it works like a M249, just without the full auto. Though, I also baby it as finding a secondary barrel isn't working out and I'd have no problem being stupid if I at least had a second barrel to go with it. Have a friend coming into town for Thanksgiving as his sister and her family are in the same area; gonna take him, his brother, his brother-in-law, and his nephew out and we're gonna have a good time. It will have a workout then.

god DAMNIT i just realized i bought the MP5K optic mount

I would never do a crime, I'm a good boy who pays his taxes and doesn't even jaywalk... but I'd be lying if I wasn't considering how to get it out of the wheelchair and let it run free.
I've heard things like the go fast bits don't directly drop in... but its not hard to get them to drop in if you're mechanically inclined....

Probably not technically illegal to own the go fast bits and the crippled gun at the same time, but I of course would advise NOT to own those parts.

A 19 sized gun or even a full sized gun can be successfully carried appendix or strong side.

I don’t want to put effort into being proficient with a gun that’s objectively worse than a G19 or larger gun from a performance shooting standpoint. I can dedicate all my dry fire and range time to a gun I shoot well and enjoy shooting.
I mean that's up to you, I like my 38 in my pocket and not a brick in my pants lol. 38 in a snubby has enough confirmed kills under its belt that I'm confident in it.

A good home defense/daily carry
Just need to mount that to the back of a truck. Holy shit bro that is fucking cool. Does the mag feed work now that it's only semi auto?

Also I think this week is the week. I'm buying the SD40 2.0

Got all my ammo in, got the accessories I want, case, 25 round stick mag, ammo box, I'm gtg to buy this thing. It'll be my first semi auto pistol I personally own. Ready to get that Resident Evil Sigma energy man, just updated to modern times.

I have been thinking about 10mm... but I don't want a glock (might reconsider) , P223, or 1911.
Are Tanfoglios any good? I have seen people talk about them in very good terms, but its typically only in reference to competition use.
Are there just no other options besides converting a USP to 10mm?
As a 10mm owner and Glock hater.
Get a Glock.
I sold my sig to go back to a g20. The tangfolios need work but are fine. 1911 to this day picky on eating hollow points etc.

There's a lot of options but honestly with my trigger and port job my Glock is good enough and as a carry the 5+ rounds more than the sig had was really a big deal.

USP cut to 10 is dope. One of my hi points is 10 but that's a meme more than practical.

Tangfolios are basically just Italian CZ-75s and typically built to a high standard. They are very popular in competition use because they're accurate, reliable, and have a fairly low bore axis. Competitive shooting is very hard on guns, so guns used in those sports need to be reliable and stand up to heavy use because having your pistol jam means taking time to clear it, which means a lower score.
