I forget who it was, but how strange she shows up with cut hair after some Kiwi commented she did not have the broken and tangled hair of a bed bound person. Hi, Dianna.
So it seems you're not sick. Are you going to stop it before the grift ends and everyone leaves you, or is it just that fun?

I just checked her FB, but don’t know how to archive FB content, she’s just obviously psychiatrically crazy pants and it seems everyone ignores her munchie antics as a result now. Latest GFM was in July “to treat multiple illnesses and get house” but I can’t read more because it was was removed. Posts lots of gibberish poems.
Shaved head for that cancer look, and seems like she’s trying to be as thin as possible. Posting crazy poems about being god/Satan and a video she posted where she called the police claiming someone hacked/created a OF account using her name. (Also states she created her on OF account to make extra money to get out of the haunted house.). In the video Morgan’s monotone crazy mumble made me think she’s either still getting her drugs or she’s been put on legit psych meds.
Still living with her mommy, but mommy seems like a sad woman resigned to the fact her daughter is just very mentally ill, not a super special “brain of fire” zebra warrior.
ETA: Reading more on her timeline, god she is so fucking dumb. She mentions she hasn’t been to school since she was 13 and it shows. Dumb as a bag of hammers and crazy too.

I still see her in people's comments now and then going on long, rambling, nonsensical rants about how badly she's being treated by the medical world. No one ever acknowledges her. Last time I found her on tiktok she was just posting shaky videos of the night sky and rambling absolute paranoid batshittery and sounding like any chemtrails weirdo.

Mentally she is forever 14 year old munchie on top of being a drug addict and legitimately severely mentally ill. I think most of her new crazy rambles are thanks to her adderall script. She claimed got off a bunch of pain killers to obtain adderall but then “surprise!” she needed her old meds back anyway.
It would appear they have her on buprenorphine now? She showed a computer screen about its administration to adults in hospital. So she’s at least been classified as an addict and put on a maintenance drug. She’s still a frequent flier at the ER.
The one thing that has changed is her mother is no longer her biggest cheerleader buying all her BS. It almost seems her mom has finally realized Morgan is just a drug abuser with schizo-bipolar disorder. Morgan is so crazy and high all the time nobody can pretend otherwise.
She seems to spend most of her time on drugs. The adderall was a bad addition because instead of laying around for weeks in a benzo/opiate coma she now has manic energy. She uses this energy to do awful make-up and take selfies, make music on the level of a ten year old, write crazy pants poetry about her god like powers and long posts raging about all the “friends” that ignore her and worrying about who would come to her funeral. She is one of the most narcissistic and selfish people imaginable but writes long paragraphs about how she lives just to help others.
She’s even more insufferable and intolerable than she was six years ago which is no small feat. Also dumb as a bag of hammers. She didn’t have much brain power to begin with but the drug abuse and ten years playing sick alone in her room have ensured she is probably legitimately retard level socially and intellectually.
She seems to have fried what little bit of cunning and social skills allowed her to convince anyone she was a really sick girl. She comes across as an obviously mental ill drug addict to even the most naive and trusting person.
Her mom must have been deflated by the full blown psychosis and florid mental illness because it killed off the public “sick zebra warrior” schtick for good. No more GFM. No more community events supporting Morgan. No more pretending she’s a super rare super sad sick girl with warrior mom. Now mom gets to live with mentally ill, drug addict, forever adolescent who is 30 years old. I don’t think mom enjoys the toxic codependency anymore but there is nothing for Morgan in life but to keep pretending she is the most helpless, sickest girl who ever sicked .
At least being a drug addict on the street would have taught Morgan some survival skills, hard lessons in social behavior and economics. The only skill Morgan learned has from 13-30 was to be pathological liar to obtain drugs and attention. Her only “skill” is pretending to be as sick and acting as helpless as possible. She has no friends, even other munchies, and weirdos online who try to befriend sick people, can’t stand her. I don’t think even her mom and dad can stand their monster anymore. Yet she remains in her teenage bedroom high as balls, the next fake suicide attempt or trip to the ER is her only IRL activities.
It’s a really bizarre example of learned helplessness. As in the past the most interesting person, to me, is Morgan’s mom. Her mom is a seemingly functional adult who has held the same job for decades. According to Morgan it’s her mom who supports the family and her dad stayed home with the little kids because mom’s career made more money. The job is in sales of some kind. I don’t understand how or why her mom went all in on Morgan’s hysterical medical drama and infantilizing her daughter to such a ludicrous degree and for so long. The only reason Morgan’s munchie career lasted a decade was her mom refusing to listen to countless medical professionals and taking her daughter doctor and hospital shopping.

Meh, buprenorphine is also pretty widely used as a painkiller.
(In tiny doses. Like 0,25 mg, versus the 8-16mg they use for maintenance/substitution.)
It’s especially popular with people where there is a risk of either abuse or depressed breathing like the elderly.

I’m sure that’s how it was explained to her because she is still deeply invested in never admitting she’s an addict, just a sick girl in so much pain that needs pain meds.
The last time I checked in on her, years ago, she was in an epic war demanding hospitals give her large amounts of painkillers. They were going through some legal process to get her out of the hospital because she and mom were refusing to leave after trying to kick her out for a month.
I’m assuming bupe was the solution because they weren’t indulging her fent pops, patches and hydromorohine injections on demand in hospitals. I’m guessing bupe was a this or nothing proposition.
She at least knows not to give an inch on admitting she’s an addict, even though that’s how she’s been treated now by doctors and hospitals. I read a FB post she did in July where she rambled about addicts, not her ofc, but people she knows. Addiction “a real, serious disease” she says but miraculous it’s one of only ones she doesn’t have. She did a recent list on her 78 different diseases and disability but addiction wasn’t listed.

Yeah, she was apparently typing them all out for an epic FB post to demonstrate how sick she is, but then nodded out or got distracted by a shiny object and her entire effort post was somehow lost! So instead we got a rambling post lamenting the loss of her 78 real diseases post. I’m assuming she just got sloppy copy and pasting from web MD and threw in the towel when it erased her last twenty pastes.
Browsing disease descriptions online is still a beloved pastime.

So, I’ve just watched Anatomy of lies, the three part documentary about Elizabeth Finch, the cancer faking, rape appropriating writer for Grey’s Anatomy (who wasn’t a witness to the synagogue massacre in Pittsburgh). I don’t watch much TV, but it was pretty good. She does some of the classics (sends The fault in our stars to a friend, becomes very “ill” when there’s a party for someone else etc). Lots of “of course she did!” from my corner of the couch.
Finch woos and marries this vulnerable Kansas woman that she meets at a residential PTSD treatment center. She’s the one who exposed her. I don’t know what to make of her. On one hand, she’s been through a lot (unlike Finch) but she’s also pretty cringe with her kinda fake looking dissociative dramatics that she does in the show. On the third hand (I have many) she’s got two pretty cool kids (the other three might be cool too but they’re so little) so she must’ve done something right. But anyone who lets TRAUMA define them is suspect in my book.
As usual, the naivety of those around Finch is astounding. Someone could have lurked this thread for about three minutes and been on to her.

Even if a person has actual trauma, the only person who can save them is themself. I feel like there is a cut off point (I'm not sure if it's age or how long ago the traumatic experience happened), where people stay in this place where they are just their trauma. This is not healthy or good, but I don't think they should be judged as harshly as munchies. Especially when they manage to not impact their surroundings negatively. In this case her children.
I think therapy is great as a concept, but it would really benefit from a bit of "tough love".
I totally agree with you that Finchs wife is super cringe, but for me that doesn't take away from how fucked in the head Finch is. Maybe it's not as evil as munchies telling actual sick people (often kids) about their woes, but it's kind of in the same ballpark.
Honestly, it doesn't matter if you yourself have PTSD, dating someone who you've met in a PTSD treatment center is probably the most dysfunctional thing you can do.

The problem is being in a close group, especially a group that's mostly women and creative types at that. Accusing someone of faking cancer is almost as bad as faking cancer, so you have to be completely certain of your facts. If it's just a gut feeling or there's a "well maybe" to it, I could see someone looking at the next writer over who seems to be buying it, and the next, and deciding not to speak up.
Everyone might be doubting, but the first person to say something risks being an asshole in an industry where reputation damage has huge repercussions.
eta: these are TV show writers, so it's not like they're accountants who can quit and work across town or across state, maybe losing a few interviews after rumors that they were mean to Cancer Lady got to the new HR. A bad reputation in the low end of the entertainment industry is a death sentence.

There's someone in my circles where I'm pretty sure his long distance girlfriend is faking cancer, but the hit to my social capital from voicing that doubt is not worth it. I'm sure in a huge number of these cases, there's a fair number of doubters, but going from quietly doubting to publicly calling out isn't worth it for 99% of acquaintances. Similar to the gender wars - you may know that a troon is a creepy man, but calling him a "he" publicly is going to damage your reputation more than it will damage his.

She met her fiance/caretaker on FetLife, a social media site for extreme fetishists. None of her illnesses are real. She has been told since she was a teenager that they were psychological at best.
She's now crying about mean cyberbullies and saying that as soon as she gets home healthcare situated they'll be helping her make "high quality cinematic content" for her tiktok.
