My concern with Trump is that the dude barely sleeps, which is directly correlated with dementia/Alzheimer's. I don't think he's losing his mind now, but I worry it could happen due to his lifestyle of getting little sleep, and that it could happen rapidly.

I was going to point out earlier in this thread how I keep catching you talking out of your ass, and with such confidence, about several subjects - especially the fan-fiction about Nixon vs Kennedy in the first televised debate where you completely omitted the reason Nixon looked so ghastly was his refusal to wear TV powder make-up. The non-LED lights of the time literally cooked people in the spotlights and Nixon was sweaty to begin with. BUT - you actually admitted that you "talk out of your ass", which was a little funny. That fact was chapter one of what used to be Mass Media courses and is still referenced in Public Speaking classes to this day, which most colleges still require to graduate.

Here you go again spitting half-truths. Those studies reference individuals who do not attain their baseline sleep levels due to medical issues, stress, environment and/or work aka "sleep deprivation". Trump is a member of the .03% of unique individuals currently called "short sleepers" who require less than 4 hours of sleep in a 24 hours cycle and remain mentally and physically healthy. It was recently discovered that it is a genetic mutation.

This one actually references the Orange Man. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2019-03-short-sleepers-hours-night-fine.html

Trump has been a short sleeper his entire life and this has been documented and corroborated by multiple people, articles and his own books. That's how he kept hotel staff and construction sites on their toes, he could show up at 4am or 4pm with no warning - every single day.

You mostly seem like a decent contributor here, can you please make an effort to talk less from your ass?

That said I don't think he's petulant enough to ban people.
you don't know much of his history then, he endlessly spam reported people in an effort to get them banned. I tend to ignore him, as everyone should as he's just harmlessly stupid. But then you have people that use him to derail threads, or god help us, people that are too dumb to understand he's not a gimmick poster, as far as he doesn't see himself as one.

lol

I wouldn't credit him as some badass though, especially when he came back and started jumping in with the anti-war movement and their spurious claims and such.
John Kerry was either retarded for signing up, or one of those elitist fucks who sees a war as a belt in the notch for running for office, since so many presidents and congressmen in the 60ies were WW2 veterans.

Either way the guy is a treasonous piece of shit (Remember how he met with Iranian politicians when Trump was in office?), that deserves to go out like that other Vietnam war POS Traitor: McCain.

The latter I think. He was a Yankee WASP and I'm sure he was trying to emulate John F Kennedy. Pretty sure his speech in 1971 before congress involved claims of having participated in massacres and such that never actually happened. When fabricating, Dem politicians in the US tend to lie about their service, Republican politicians tend not to, they just leave the bad shit out. McCain was a garbage officer who had a career only because his father and grandfather were admirals. Him going out of his way to make sure we didn't look into credible reports of POW-MIAs left behind was just the cherry on top of the shit sundae that was John McCain.

Removing the last line I am pretty sure Biden had a Xit like this during his campaign then he was selected and immediately started going after his political enemies with the DoJ and attacking white people and Christians.

So...I am going to stick to, "Go suck a dick, Kamala" reply to this haggard bitch.

Israel/Palestine is one of the biggest wedge issues for Democrats, and a major war happening between those places has caused an unimaginable rift between various factions within the party. Had this not happened during the Biden presidency, the Democrats would likely be more unified than they are now (any unity they claim to have is fake imo. They haven’t gone through some of the necessary growing pains the Republican Party has had to)
Yup, there’s a lot of Muslim voters who will refuse to vote D this year. And probably also some Jews.

If shit really kicks off in the Middle East, it’ll be even worse for the Dems. Kamala will run around like a chicken with her head cut off trying to seem like she’s in the thick of things, talking out of both sides of her mouth to please everyone and piss everybody off.

Trump will just have to stand there and say “I told you so, worst administration ever! There was peace in my term!”

Anyone who thinks Kamala has a chance at winning this election is mentally deranged. I’m in blue liberal Los Angeles and have not see a single Harris-Walz sign at all. Meanwhile I have actually seen Trump signs.
unfortunately things like logic and objective reality go out the window when women are involved

“lol”, says the women who knows Harris will crash the country but saw a propaganda news story about illegals that made her feel sad. “lmao”

So I have been thinking about the news about the shifts in party registration and wondering how big of an impact that can be having on the polls
The way that polls work is you ask a bunch of people, sort the results by demographics like party, and then you adjust the final percentages based on what you expect the representation of those demographics to be.
As an example, if you poll 1000 people it doesn't matter if your respondents are 60% democrat, because you can then adjust your final numbers to whatever you expect the actual percentage of democrats to be.
This is also why its so easy for pro democrat push polls to claim plausibility, its all just a prediction of the turnout.
So I was wondering what the polls would look like if that turnout was adjusted to reflect the change in party registration, and I made an example of a recent poll
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/docs/2024/Umass_Lowell_PA_Oct.pdf
this is a recent Harris +1 PA poll, (Trump 45, Harris 46)

I am too lazy to do any of the math myself so I asked the AI a few questions and fed it the pdf, this is what it said when asked about recent party affiliation changes
Currently, party registration trends show a near balance between Republicans and Democrats. As of recent data, around 49% of registered voters either identify as Democrats or lean toward the Democratic Party, while 48% identify or lean Republican. This parity marks a significant shift from previous election cycles when Democrats enjoyed a clearer advantage in voter registration

I asked it to re-weigh the results of that poll using the new registration numbers
Based on the reweighted calculations reflecting the new party registration distribution, the updated poll results are:

  • Kamala Harris: 44.7%
  • Donald Trump: 53.5%
  • Undecided/Other Candidates: 1.8%

I don't know if I believe the shift will really be that dramatic but I though it was interesting to think about.

“Worst in a century”
Fuck white women.
Literally and figuratively.

The funny part about that infographic is the “+9” for Romney. Better than Trump, and got thoroughly whooped. You don’t need white women to win.

(Also women are particularly susceptible to the kind of social pressure that makes you say one thing to pollsters, and do something else in a voting booth. Remember how Trump did better among women than polls predicted?)
What in the world is this about? By the standards of your Stinkditch posting, you're now a gracious gallant-- you even had something complimentary to say about your ex-wife! :story:

That better buddy? ;)
