They've worked themselves into an even bigger frenzy over the last eight years. They legitimately think Orange Man is Hitler x 10 and that anyone who votes for him is evil.

I don't think we would get the same degree of shock because 2016 was such an upset, but I expect to see plenty of hilarious moralizing chimpouts in the Ana Kasparian "I'M BETTER THAN YOU" vein.

I’ve been collecting names of both sides on twitter/reddit/Facebook who think the election is in the bag. I plan to watch the fallout once it gets called regardless who wins. It will be funny.

If Trump wins he may be on a tight schedule to get his agenda through before the 2026 midterms fuck up the Congress

The AI is probably not up to date with the latest Gallup party ID poll that shows an R+3 electorate. This poll has been highly predictive of the national popular vote. Re-weighting polls is mostly pointless since we don't know exactly how they weighted in the first place, so re-weighting ends up with a heavily distorted number. And the crosstabs don't include their sample's party ID. If it was a Harris +1 with a D > +1 electorate, that's not a good result for Harris.

Top funny would be Joe Biden dying before Jimmy Carter.

I gotta say that, if they really plan to fraud this, it will be a case of Trump winning on the day and then after days of counting suspicious mail in ballots Harris "winning" with the most votes ever. Of course, that would be a complete shark jump moment. 2020 made it at least somewhat believable, Harris can't get that this year.

Of course something like 80% of people in Los Angeles are Democrat. Most of those people don’t bother to vote. Enthusiasm is an important indicator to turn out. California will stay blue but there a lot of downballot races in California that can give Trump a more favorable house. It matters.
