It also has to do with his retarded view on streaming. He treats it like a 9-5. It's why he always does troubleshooting on stream because otherwise he considers it working "off the clock". I guarantee his idea for the premier episode would be to have PPP walk him through how to watch a match on hulu while he begs for money. Hasn't a fucking clue how to entertain or put on a show.

A lot of it is just that, an actual office job with the watering hole chit chatting, shit breaks while on your phone, sittin up and stretching to go do random bullshit to appear busy, and doing live trouble shooting because that means you aren't actually working because you need the IT guy to troubleshoot something so small but enough to get in the way of sending those TPS reports out.

Even down to the politics and getting out of everything like "Got the ol' Ball N Chain at home can't stay late" bullshit we hear time and time again for him to get out of doing anything.

The DMs being open pretty much gives away that the interviews he's been working on were Boogie (lolcow), Wings (lolcow), RTU (lolcow & rescinded), RTU's ex editor Jay (lolcow adjacent at best) and Arturo/fgcOS person from DMs (the FGCs lolcow and a crazy fuck).

This kinda shows that "DSP Asks It" was never going to be a thing last year either. It also shows how much of a lazy fuck Phil is, as he said "he doesn't care enough" to try. Not that that isn't obvious by the content he puts out. He's convinced himself that whales tip because they love him so much and not because they're retarded finsubs, and he's so toxic he can't even keep them around.

I have revised my estimated bedtime for Phil. I speculate that he goes to bed around 4:30AM each day. Think about how drunk he is at this time at night. He probably goes through a handle every 2 days at this point.

He wakes up at 10:30AM after 5 hours of drunk sleep, still drunk from the night before. He has a hair of the dog and a bagel and waddles upstairs to start the stream.

Also, friendly reminder that right after that "interview", Phil went on to say that any future guests were not allowed to shit on him, then he went on to rant/gloat about how no one wants to talk with him because they're so scared of him that they are not willing to be on his show where he made a rule where people were not allowed to call him out. On this note - to hear Phil tell it in his last job at the helicopter plant he wrote a program that sped up his + his coworkers' jobs, he was fired regardless, and in the aftermath everyone he worked with called to tell him how great he was and how stupid management was for getting rid of him. So to your point that's most of the boxes checked (victim complex, idiot boss). He even came up with some insane cope about how the company went under after he got fired (nobody tell him that it was acquired by Lockheed-Martin).

Edit to Add: To some extent he has applied this to Kat as well. He's never flat out said 'she was fired from Fred Meyer' but he has gone on unprompted, very telling rants about how nobody's willing to give her a chance, they all hate her for no good reason, you get the picture. Even if she nominally left voluntarily you know he sees it as her getting pushed out.
