Kinda disagree. Even if you live in an Anglo neighborhood, they basically force you to learn French in school. You’re really set up for failure if you don’t speak French there.

You could sit at one of their editorial meetings and go: “I want to do a story about how Trump is Satan in human form!” And instead of calling for a loony van, the editor would just go: “Ok… That’s an interesting angle! Do you think we could get a quote from a priest attesting to that?”
