Cowards and nut cases are the only ones that will grab a firearm and shoot at groups of unarmed people. Chance is a very cowardly person and a huge nut case with no anger management skills/abilities whatsoever. I could see Raxx doing it if Ed and Sally weren’t paying attention and he knew where a firearm is stashed. He’d think the “castle law”, as he calls it, will cover him legally.
I remember a stream where he was on cam point some kind of rifle, but I think that was confirmed to be an air-rifle. He might hurt someone with that.
Nah that was a legit rifle, .22lr. The rifle was Gordon’s (the man married to Sally when she adopted Chance). Raxx claimed it was a custom made sniper rifle lmao. If you know anything about guns you’d know .22lr is really only good up to 400-500 meters with a good and experienced shooter, good rifle and barrel, good ammo and a perfectly zeroed scope. The average person with little to no shooting experience could probably only be able to hit their target somewhere near 100-200 meters max. That’s no where near sniper range.

The conditions needed to get an accurate shot with 22LR rimfire at even 300 ft make the gun insufficient for long range engagement with humans who have somewhat unpredictable movement patterns. It’s not an impossible shot but it’s not worth making the shot if you can use .223, at the very least.
