It's kinda funny to think about, but there are a lot of potential "nails in the coffin" for when Phil's career died. And I do definitely agree the downfall happened ages ago and Phil is only "surviving" in the sense that, yes, he's not technically dead and collects a paycheck. Which I think is a feat the majority of us accomplished in our late teens/early 20's, but I certainly wouldn't say I was living my best life back then by just doing the bare minimum to exist.

I think from a "social" perspective, Phil's downfall was when we found out about Champions and realized he was living paycheck to paycheck because of his gacha addiction. For me at least, that was when I realized Phil was more or less trapped in life.

Machinima dropping him was arguably another point, because without someone managing him and pushing him to achieve something greater with his career, there's no way Phil will do it. He had some pretty big financial successes after the fact, but I think it cemented that Phil would never do anything beyond begging for money while poorly playing video games for the rest of his life.

Along the same lines, I think the end of the vest streak was another death knell. Weirdly, maybe even during the vest streak because it really emphasized that Phil had chased away any sort of audience and was solely reliant on a handful of dedicated paypigs. To give Phil the tiniest bit of credit, he's sort of pushed back against that by managing to get a few KC people, but all signs point to them being temporary at best, as shown by him failing so often with the king streak/having to resort to counting all sources of income towards it instead of just his tips. I guess it's just a sign that Phil is so toxic and resistant to change that there's really no way for him to ever "recover" and get back to the numbers he used to inexplicably hit.

I used to always think there was a world if Phil became a drama streamer on Kick he could actually relaunch his career, and maybe that was true at one point, but after seeing his attempts at it, it's clear he doesn't have the creativity to cut promos on people. He's also too lazy to be more of a "historian" style drama creator, and too self-centered to even really deep dive into other people, to the point where all he can do is compare them to himself, which doesn't work when Phil is the most boring person in the world who is usually just as bad, if not worse, than the people he covers.

DSP got very lucky with KC coming to the rescue because he was on a fairly stiff decline $$$ and view wise for almost a year. That begathon back on 5/21/2023 where he got $1,327 is a clear dropping of support point after that the $$$ slows down all the way until the KC arc.

And don't forget in order to "felt" the detractors he had to combine all of his income into one goal. And that after years of denying SC's into the goal total. But now he has a way of protecting his ego but he looses his "liquidity". The last streams were very clear that he wants tips but he isn't getting them anymore.unless someone whlaes. Also: monday or tuesday will be a big Youtube cheque. Expect som,e extra splurging maybe even a new streaming PC that is totally gifted like his new PS5 PRO (why does he even need one in the first place????)

I think it says something that phil had to group all contributions (superchats, yt memberships, kick memberships and tips) together to get some semblance of success. There's also the very real possibility that Phil himself overlooks that he had to combine all of his sources of income and continues to spend like it's all tips. It won't lead to financial destruction, but it's all on the road to burying himself back into his previous levels of debt, possibly coupled with late/overdraft fees if he's waiting for a YouTube/Kick check to clear because he was too greedy not to slow down on pulls because he forgot the $150 he just made isn't actually $150 that went straight to his wallet like before.

If my calculations are right, October is going to be right back to the slow decline he was on in April-June. He's done nothing noteworthy on any of his channels, and even with clips, his overall views are down. Reacts had 100k views the last 2 months and might not sniff 50k this month, so again, back into the dirt as it was on its way to being.

The funny thing is all this shuffling he does is just moving money from one place to another. He'll get a bump in Kick money this month, but just like the last 2 monetization channels (Reacts & Throwback), the paid subscriptions there are barely over 100, and Kick won't be different. And his views & superchats (Google money) and tips are down.

The payments he gets from Google & Kick in the next 2 weeks better be saved because its downhill from there.

Phil can babble endlessly about felting people and how people like him now because the documentary proved he was a liar (?), but the last stream when he said he can't get anyone to agree to be interviewed by him, he pulled back the curtain on just how much he's "liked". All he's got left are the KC clowns to help him pick fights with even bigger tards. He's now everything he claimed he hated about streamers, unstoppably begging 100 times a stream.

He's on pace to pull in 30-40k more in a year easily if the KC arc continues on but to DSP that is all spent immediately in WWE Champions or on shit he doesn't need as we have seen with his spending ramping up and him even hitting #1 in an event for the first time.

If he was spending as he was 6 months ago he would be ahead but DSP historically always ramps up his spending as he earns more and then cries how was he supposed to know it wouldn't last forever.

Cut gaming down to be about 40% of his content at best with the rest being drama basically which the dents/true fans hate so views are gonna suffer.

Has no idea how to properly use Kick (all he had to do was move 2-3 night streams of drama over there a week, kill DSP reacts and do those on Kick and perhaps change stream time so he isn't streaming same time as KC) and for some reason pits YouTube against Kick in a donation war every single stream.

He has ramped begging up to the point that his chat actively complains about it and you can basically find some sort of beg every 5-10 minutes in his content now. Now shits on every single donator within 5 minutes of them contributing hoping they are beaten by someone else.

Killed his own interview hype train with scheduling autism. That time is now filled with him "felting" bottom of the barrel lolcows or detractors but somehow he still loses because he can't even do it properly (seriously go watch his recent RTU or Doo-Dee felting it's some of the worst content ever)

I mean the list can go on and on but the last 3 months of DSP has been mistake after mistake as soon as he smells some $$$$

I am surprised almost nobody mentioned the begging. Surely, someone who is more successful doesn't need to beg this much? Or do you need more money every time your salary increases even though your expenses remain the same? Something tells me even Phil himself does not fully buy his return and needs constant affirmation - more money, but they don't come, so he needs to beg. Makes you wonder how successful he really is.
