Disagreeing on this, anything that adds a barrier in the way of posting makes it that much more annoying to post. An anonymous image board should not have this. Even if most regular users do not leave, there will still be a good amount that do and you'll just be left with more shitposters, schizos, and other dregs than anybody worth a damn.

Unlike 4chan which seems to have no trouble staying up even after endless negative media attention over the years, all it took to nearly destroy the farms was a few rabid retards to be very obsessed with destroying the site and Josh for being responsible for it's continued existence. I see nothing that shows Moon as a protected figure nor the farms as a place particularly important to glowies. Not that there aren't a few fed or fed adjacent users, you'd be lucky to find a site with a five-digit userbase and up that wouldn't, but it's not a goldmine of a honeypot like 4chan is, with the most dumbassed of it's userbase genuinely believing that they're anonymous, even posting without so much as a vpn at a minimum, and thus professing to crimes and threatening violence on politicians. The most criminal people that have come to KF usually are it's detractors, with the rare user like FuckYou, aka couch cuck, but I don't think he even confessed to what he was going to do here.

Yep. You've quite literally needed only that thing, because rooting out spambots and samefag raiders is quite easy on it's own with that thing, and for some reason they felt like making your life harder.
That's my problem: they make up a token solution that potentially allows them to gather more data on the users, and it fails because any dedicated autist will break your protections no matter what you do, and continue to moderate the site in the most awful of ways, killing off the userbase and what fun we used to have.
KiwiFarms isn't a perfect platform, with jannies having the occassional meltdown or the owner being a sperg that wants to bash every animeposter's skull with a hammer, but your complaints feel unreasonable. Reactions do not affect posts in any way and allow you to share your opinion in 1 click without shitting up the thread, and talking about glowniggers in general requires more substantial evidence and theorycrafting, something this site currently lacks. (Unless you're willing to discuss various edgy teens calling for death or terrorism, but it's more likely that they're little shits or users that dislike KF than full-blown feds).

I think there would be a great opportunity for someone like Null who has the skill to apply what he has learned to keep this site up, to host an imageboard. I know he used to be the admin of 8Chan. KiwiChan has a good ring to it.

When AIs get powerful and smart enough to instaban all schizos and spammers relying on the same tricks and buzzwords, then you'll see imageboards prosper again. As far as it stands, Null's already got a handful of troubles when managing this place, and wouldn't want to pay 2k USD to let people shitpost about e-celebs and cows on two sites simultaneously.
The nature of a forum thankfully filters out the undesirables pretty quickly, KiwiFlare does the rest for malicious attacks.
If/when AI gets this powerful, it will be used for censorship. Schizos and spammers will still be allowed to run rampant since they're useful idiots for the jannies/feds in charge.
Have faith. If this place can get back on clearnet after trannies dropped it, so can imageboards return with AI-powered moderation.
