You have to remember that by the time she started appearing, Nicks "audience" were basically a bunch of Nick dick riding simps who consisted entirely of the fools who still bought into his good boy act (and thus were strangely intrigued when he did bad boy things) and paid him every single day to drink himself to death while doing eulogies to dead dogs and grandpas.

Honestly even as a quasi-practicing Christian myself, his fake prayers are what really sent me over the edge. How someone could bring themselves to take money from people in exchange for a public prayer for a loved one while being a complete and utter degenerate behind the scenes is fucking loathsome. I honestly think in some ways, Nick is lucky he picked Christianity to latch onto because most actual practicing Christians will take you at your word, so unfortunately for them...Nick is a prolific liar and probably got away with this stuff until he literally could not lie his way out of it anymore and that's when it got reported. Imagine being a member of his small town church and interacting with this guy semi-regularly, and watching him act like some kind of online law-preacher and calling himself the law-pope and shit. It's so insulting.
I seem to remember people being perturbed by that even at the time. Do you know how bad milk has to be to make you sick? It must have tasted horrible. Just to clarify, @Himedall All-seeing Waifu and I were discussing Joe, not Nick, with this quote (it's Himedall's quote) and my contention that creators who get into trouble do not have close irl friends. I mention this only bc I don't think anyone believes that Joe is a sociopath.
