I think Kayla does. Note her hugging her son outside the courtroom and expressing regret. Thus far, however, she's demonstrated no inclination to be a better mother since the arrest. The opposite. She's allowed April to be in the gallery for court proceedings + thruple tats + thruple art shows, and she's hosted Ethan Ralph for a group pic. There's no evidence that Ethan Ralph was exposed to the kids, but that mere pic caused me to give up on her.
Nick may give af in some narc way bc the kids' success (or lack thereof) reflects upon his own identity, but his defensive posture in this case and engagement with many pedos or pedo sympathizers speaks for itself.
Kayla knows she is a terrible mother and has embraced this in a very irresponsible way. She doesn't trust herself to be a good mother, and like Nick, she probably wants them to grow up to be better people than her though she will not yield her children's instruction to anyone else (hence the homeschooling).
Unfortunately for Kayla and her children, being an entitled, possessive, irresponsible, self-absorbed, weak-willed, cowardly excuse of a mother will only sabotage her offspring's chances of success in this life.
I know this wasn't your main point but this made me think. Cowdom is probably correlated (and perhaps the cause) of having an outsized desire for social connection on the Internet and underwhelming/zero real-life friendships. I can't be the first person to notice this.
...
I can't speak with authority wrt cows featured on MATI and KinoCasino but most seem to rely on the Internet to define their identity and create "friendships".
Lolcows essentially reside in a world of their own making where they attempt to exercise complete control over the narrative of their life on the Internet. The more they invest in their online persona, the more sensitive they are to online attention (both positive and negative).
Some people mistakenly think that because they can choose what to make publicly available that they have complete control over how they are perceived. This illusion of control entices them to invest more in how they want to be perceived (grifting for attention/money) rather than investing in the person they actually are. Without real-world contacts to help them course-correct or otherwise hold them accountable they generally think they can continue to craft their narrative with impunity.
This is why KF bothers them so much. It presents a narrative they cannot completely control (much like in real life). Whether it's "correcting the record" or "owning the haters" these lolcows cannot help but make a spectacle of themselves through idiocy, malice, vanity, and various other petty attributes.
With their online persona under attack, and little to no meaningful connections to the real world, they overreact and the milk flows.
But the horrifying reality is, this is what the kids would face without Nick...
More horrifying still, Kayla had commentary on that picture of Drexel that your image is based off of. This is during a stream on October 28th 2022 with Divinity Said, Ty Beard, and Sean.
Apparently, that picture is how Drexel looks at their kids. Keep in mind that Drexel is looking at NCAA Cat in that picture, a woman he was having sex with but didn't want to commit to.
Nick then showcases the image of him from his thot-stream in an attempt to be fair to Drexel for making fun of his picture. They both come across as creeps.
