I like her content because she covers shit that generally I don't see much of, and I like her videos about niche, shitty online browser MMO games and drama that goes on in them, they're good for background noise. Should be obvious, but she's also a Twitter libtard and will go out of her way to let you know that in some of her videos, like her Girls Go Games video.

I can’t really expect better from a woman clearly in her early 20s who grew up around internet shit in her formative years, but it doesn’t mean I have to like it.

I guess if I’m going to be talked at by that demographic, I’d prefer something like skumbagovich which is essentially just Justin Whang content.

I've been avoiding this kind of content for a while. It's so redundant and useless.

Yes, it sucks. We know it's bad. Thank you for the breakdown on content I had no plans to watch anyway. I have no interest in this slop, so why would I watch an explanation of every problem it has?

I'm not saying to not give bad reviews to bad things, but when your entire online persona is "I hate this thing, here's why" you just come off as jaded and sad.

But there is money to be made. Outrage sells. Don't watch something you enjoy. Watch something you hate, and get mad.

I was wary of her when I looked at her Twitter and found out she's one of those she/they people.

Yeah no thanks. Granted, I can watch people with pronoun retardation fine so long as they keep the nonsense off their videos. But I do get wary and evidently it would seem that Izzy has been doing the exact opposite of that so that's a hard skip.

Same thing happened to me when Mr. Clemps began going by they/them. Hmmm yah no thank you.

I tried to watch her videos a month ago and that comparison isn't quite right because Whang doesn't censor himself like Skumbagovich does. I know that she covers mainly NSFW stuff so there are things that need to be censored, but she blips out word like suicide, kill and shit like that which make me MATI.

Assuming you mean the borderline content farm channel....

My reasons for disliking him are mainly just preference but they go as follows;
- Rather tone-deaf. Many a time I've rolled my eyes when he would complain about an issue, then shill a product that is a result of said issue. Like AI.

- He did something similar and more egregious in my opinion when he made a video about society's downfall and highlighted poverty. While shilling for a shit course subscription thing that was promoted as a fix of society.

- Doomer content. It gets stupid after a while. Kinda in the same way he tries to twist every piece of popular media into some kind of Nostradamus-type prediction about the evils of society. Yet not actually doing that most of the time but rather giving a shit recap of the movie or show.

- The regurgitation of info wouldn't be as bad if he didn't also act like he was the first person to uncover it.

All in all, it's inoffensive but it's still rather shitt.

Also just channels focused on older media where literally every videos just 'ermm that didnt age well' no shit sherlock.

Also forgot who this was but one of those storytime animators slightly changed their character drawing to have a pixie cut and I was like 'ok she got a haircut' but apparently she came out as nonbinary the same video the haircut was updated lmao.
For people not following the gender binary they sure are insistent on cutting their hair short to prove theyre not women.

Just looked up Kurtis Conner, and I agree. He'd be sort of good looking in a pretty boy-ish way, if it weren't for that awful hairstyle and tache. And non-binary people do my head in (translation: piss me off, more or less).

While I wouldn't say that Pewdiepie is a youtuber I hate, I have to say that his Japan vlogs are quickly becoming tiresome to me. I guess it's more an extension of most content being produced by big youtubers who've decided to expatriate themselves to Japan.

They basically show a life that isn't possible for the vast majority of people who live in Japan, including the natives of the country itself. Yeah, life in Japan is pretty fucking sweet if you're making a shit-ton more money than most salariman would make, and you've got production companies or paid native employees to navigate the massive inefficient and slow government and corporate bureaucracies that dictate life there for you. It's pretty nice when you can take off to go to a nice ryokan with a private onsen whenever you want, rather than work 10-12 hour days with unpaid overtime and minimal vacation time. It's cool when your income can get you a house, or a spacious apartment rather than a shoebox with a view of your neighbor's shoebox apartment complex 15 feet away. It's great when you can insulate yourself in your little gaijin social bubble with the only Japanese allowed in being fluent English speakers comfortable with Western cultural norms instead of the bulk of your time spent with exhausted native coworkers who are only superficially polite with you, and an angry alcoholic middle-aged manager screaming at you in broken English to come into work when you're running a fever.

All in all, it's just a flex, same as youtubers back in the states showing off their flashy lambos and rolexes, only they get a pass because it's Japan and it's A E S T H E T I C.

That said, if I had the money, I would 100% be living that lifestyle. I'd just be conscious enough to not show it as something aspirational or achievable, because it's not. It's basically winning the lottery.
