TNO is cursed when it comes to making reduxes for it, I don't think it's worth it at this point.

Finished the mod, pic related. Overall that was the second best HOI4 mod I've played (besides Old World Blues, just because of time and polish). I think the PF path needs a lot more polish with decisions and inserting text, but I had a blast playing it. I do want to know if PF knows about this mod, and if they do, if they enjoy it?

Yeah, it is filled with feds and a lot of its members who went to J6 ended up arrested, except for some leaders, who made a deal with the goverment. But honestly, it wouldn't be the first time that the glowies create an extremist group and it blows up in their face

Whatever it is that you're cooking it can't be as bad as the main mod. I've been following it on and off on the 4chan general. They're just cutting content and missing deadlines left and right. Even the content they're planning to put out is awful. Look at this.
Oh yeah I know what'll get me hyped for your content. Saying it won't matter and that your actual in-game content isn't canon. It seems to be a new excuse they use to justify all the plot holes that come from the mod being remade from scratch repeatedly under the new team that took over the mod. You know what else gets me hyped?
Content cuts. They're spending thousands of hours to just remove content at this point. I've never seen anything like this.
Bring on the rainbow reacts but I bet we'll eventually see something fun come out of it. There are enough people that are interested in the setting for it not to happen.

Probably not worth repeating unverifiable info then. I can tell you the J6 thing is completely false, because if it was true I would have seen some liberal/antifa account doing a mass documentation about it, like they did with that one Idaho rally
I think you might be confusing Patriot Front with the Proud Boys who did have plenty of people at J6, and a semi-official leader who flipped

Most Proud Boys chapters have disbanded or rebranded because of divergent ideological views and the whole "our mutt leader ratted us out to avoid jail time" thing
I knew a few locally where I'm from. It was basically a drinking fraternity for right-wing guys. Everything from Paleocons, to Right-Libertarians, to Nazis
The J6 ones either got the typical gulag treatment or laid low. They're honestly not as interesting as governments and NGOs makes them out to be. A networking tool at best

I think they still exist? I know the black guy that partially lead them was outed as a fed but I also remember afterwards that time the Proud Boys expose and unmasked a Patriot Front member.

I'm not gonna PL by letting you know how I obtained this info (maybe I'll make a post on it one day), but I'll reiterate something I've dropped in a prior thread that I was a penpal with Paul Miller for awhile while he was in prison (and Chris Chan at the same time). Take or leave the info as you wish, I'm just an anonymous person on the internet.
PF isn't a fed honeypot, though FBI agents were asking individuals about information on them about a year ago or so (there's a video on that somewhere, where they try to intimidate someone who isn't a part of the organization). Thomas and those closest to him also aren't plants or actors, and the work they do is legitimate. They're occasionally harassed by law enforcement, but since they aren't breaking any serious laws they continue to operate just fine.
I know for a fact that a lot of the early "leaks" from Unicorn Riot were fake and a lot of what's been spoken about the group is untrue. This has led to a slew of misinformation and slanted opinions about what happens within PF as an organization, and what it states as its beliefs vs. the beliefs of individual members. They did have one antifa plant who was quickly found out because he sucked at leaking info, which led to this gem of a video (where there were only a few counter protesters and the bike cops led PF to the capitol lol).
Actual beliefs within the group have changed a lot since it was founded, with a lot of actual white nationalists, national socialists, etc. leaving or changing their views to align with Thomas'. Thomas also cut out a lot of actual white nationalists that would hang around PF, beyond it just being about optics. I would say they're more of a nativist group than anything else these days, just with a lot of the talking points/vocabulary leftover from the old 2016-2021 days of the dissident right... So in that respect the mod was incredibly on point with there being authoritarian republicans to more radical dissidents within the group.

They were New England members of Patriot Front who were far too radical for Thomas and other leadership to handle, leaning Atomwaffen tier
They eventually got the boot for that and some escalating violence. NSC hasn't made a lot of noise recently, they got in legal shit for beating some Antifa at a protest, raiding anarchist book fairs in Boston, and loudly protesting outside the home of the governor of Massachusetts at night (lmfao). Most of their membership rebranded into a New England WN independence movement (PINE) over that. I believe I made some documentation posts about them in the Atomwaffen thread way back

The AI did that all on its own in my run, I have no idea why Commintern Europe decided to invade Russia (who already became The Holy Union) a few years after the collapse of NATO without American support. The Russians just steamrolled everyone on the way into Germany within a year. I get notifications about Eastern European countries capitulating one after another before that. The sweet spot was a nuke going off over London, ending the war when I finally decided to take a look at the new face of Europe.
I found an issue with the history/unit file, it happens consistently when the France civil war was about to kick off. I looked into the HOI4 error logs and it complained about a unit name being invalid at the last entry of the log, something something Alpin. Search for it in the mod folder and you should get a unit template being referred with that name. The problem was that it was only defined once in one of the factions in the civil war, I copied the template over to the other txt files that referenced it, the game was able to get pass the crash.

All Evil Europe paths have that. For example, in my game as the chicoms, I got the socialists in Russia, and managed (after much pain and some exploits with the volunteer system) to get them to win the European war. After that, Germany will descend into turmoil and end up with Hitler 2, who will do the regular economy/army things and then get basically every european country that it can get into the Axis 2 to invade the USSR again. I have the screenshots of their tree, I will post them once I finish my PRC campaign

Thanks. Right now I'm trying to get a pre toolbox theory build working on the latest version of hoi4. If I ever get that to work, I have a few schizo ideas I want to implement. The first one will be Heydrich not committing suicide, deciding he's the second coming of Charlemagne, and declaring a national socialist empire. Except since he is allied with jews, communists, and local nationalists, he starts bending the rules of nazism, in order to make his ambitions a reality. So you end up with a bunch of "honorable jews" and aryan slavs running around exclaiming how national socialist they are.
A thread on a dumb hoi4 mod puts out better info then large media conglomerates. What a world.
Has anyone managed to beat the soviets in the first war? I tried a french game and despite building up the entire game I just got steamrolled in eastern europe since they stack a fuck load of buffs
