Kicked out of 109 websites... That is pretty insane, I never heard of a country being geo-blocked by a major website, let alone Israel out of all places. IIRC (unless someone can correct me), this does also affect Gaza, West Bank or Golan Heights right since Israel controls the Internet within the areas, or do these areas have separated Internet access?

I should add that since this is Twitch.tv, nothing of value was lost since the people who watch Twitch are retarded mongoloids to begin with.

Twitch support responded to the sign up issue:

We wanted to address concerns we’ve seen about whether we’re preventing Twitch account sign ups in some regions.

When signing up for a Twitch account, you can select an account verification method – email or phone – for added protection. Following the October 7, 2023 attacks, we temporarily disabled sign ups with email verification in Israel and Palestine. We did this to prevent uploads of graphic material related to the attack and to protect the safety of users.

Signups were not disabled, and we continued to see sign ups from both regions. Users could choose to sign up with phone verification. We’ve learned that, inadvertently, we did not re-enable email verification sign ups for either region.

We deeply regret this unacceptable miss, and the confusion it has caused. We’ve fixed the issue, meaning all affected users can sign up with email verification.

We’ve also heard concerns about whether our Community Guidelines apply to all content on our service. We continue to enforce our rules as consistently as possible, and are actively reviewing content and taking enforcement action where needed.

Twitch claims they forgot about email verification for everyone from Israel/Palestine for over a year. Additionally, they have never instituted a similar policy for any other conflict like the Ukraine/Russia war.

Given the ban was from may this year and not before and they only restricted e-mail while allowing for cell verification it sounds plausible that there was a pretty large spike of bot accounts and that's why they blocked. Then just left it there because nobody was complaining. Increased scrutiny on IP blocks from places like eastern europe/india is not uncommon at all and often you'll have to do the same thing with cell verification.
