I wish people would just stop using Wikipedia so it would go away, it's been well known by everyone on the planet that it's a biased and untrustworthy source of information since it existed basically, it's always been a running joke and in some cases a real rule to never use Wikipedia for research yet EVERYONE still uses it to cite information.

Wikipedia is still often a good starting place. The problem is that far too many people just stop there rather than fact-checking any of the information themselves and researching further.

The problem is people will start treating AI like gods who are all knowing and 100% truthful. The nightmare scenario is the government conferring authority to an AI and claiming it is infallible (and definitely doesn't ever have any humans controlling it, honest) so therefore it is illegal to question anything it says. The only thing that disappointed me about Snowden was the fact that the global West just shrugged when it was all revealed. That man revealed that there's no real privacy anywhere in the West thanks to the governments all working together to ignore any protections and people chose to bury their heads.

Not just that, he also revealed things like the UK's JTRIG, which goes beyond just spying and is (or was, since it was some time ago) a full-on online social engineering operation.

There are probably at least a few conservative adjacent things he would vote for. Supreme court justices, tax cuts, things like that. Not exactly red meat but nonetheless I could see him siding with the GOP in at least a few places where a Democrat senator wouldn't. That being said I'm utterly indifferent regarding him vs. a generic Massachusetts democrat. The best he'd do is cosign a few GOP bills that would pass with or without him.
