The nonsense about /pol/ has always been a way to dismiss anyone meaningfully critical of the status quo and progressivism. I have been accused of being a /pol/ user quite a few times over the years on various sites, yet I have never used the forum and my only experience on 4chan was /a/ back in the good old days.

Seeing Null and his ballwashers endlessly cry about /pol/, has been eye opening, they really are as retarded as the r/politics faggots.

funnjunk recently began censoring political content and permabanned several prominent users, much to the cheering of progressives who were extremely pleased people they don't like are being suppressed. It was a site that often prided itself on being free speech, and while the admin, mods, and progressives there desperately insisted that censoring political content totally isn't censorship, while also bragging about it and cheering that they were returning the website to being a humor website by censoring politics. It would have been funny if it wasn't so dishonest.

I wonder if Null would ever do the same, and claim he is simply returning the site to being a gossip site? Honestly, funnyjunk censoring to that degree never occurred to me as a possibility, so I can't say Kiwi Farms is immune to the same.

Mainly for me it's how their ideas are expressed.

For example to the opposite side if a bunch of people showed up babbling about saving Ukraine like it's the most sane thing in the world and you didn't know anything about it, you'd immediately assume these must be retards who hang out someplace where this has evolved into a thing, because that's a pretty weird idea to be obsessed with.

With the /pol/ people (or at least the ones who seem like /pol/ people) there always seems to be really bizarre, hyper-specific obsessions they have that they relay in really meme-ish kinds of ways.

Someone can absolutely believe in gassing all the black people or w/e and I wouldn't assume they're a /pol/ user, if that's what someone believes then sure, but they never act like the kind of people who reasoned the entire thing out and came to a conclusion like that, they come off like they're dumb and repeating things.

They also usually get fairly offended by being disagreed with, which makes it seem like they're used to having an echo chamber someplace.

Point is I don't believe for a second that these people aren't picking these really specific ideas and preoccupations up from somewhere. It might not be /pol/, maybe they're watching youtube videos, or watch certain streamers, or have a discord, I've got no idea.
