This one is my favorite:

I love how it was uploaded the day before the 2016 election. Even better is the “HONEST ABE INCOLN!!” I seriously thought that was an edit, but it turns out Trump actually said it in PA.

I laughed so long and hard when I first saw that, some of my relatives came into the room to make sure I was okay.

No matter how much guidance she gets in that situation, it will never be enough to hide her obvious anxiety at being near the hot oil. She has no poker face or control over her body language. She’d be weakly grasping the fryer basket handles with palpable discomfort, as if they were dirty diapers that needed to go into a pail.

And that nervousness/disdain would probably make her grip on the baskets weak, which is absolutely what you don't want to have with boiling hot oil.

PL but I used to be a CNA at a nursing home and putting a bunch of people who can't even speak English in place to care for extremely fragile, sick elderly and disabled folks is just asking for a disaster. There is no way they could do this job. CNAs have to communicate with the patients to understand if they are sick, hungry, etc. it's just asking for neglect and abuse to happen.

The question is whether they still have the influence and resources to force such an outcome. In 2020 almost every powerful group was backing the Democrats and progressive ideology in general, now Musk is a Republican and Zuckerberg says he has regrets. The frustrating thing is that we don't know all the cards that the two sides are holding and have to make vague guesses based on the bits of information they let slip.

Daily Reminder that I've been saying for the past 3 years that 2024 will be the year the Foreign Elites have gotten tired of hearing how Americans have guns to "defend against tyranny" and they're going to make them fucking use them. Also don't be surprised if on November 3rd, China invades Taiwan, Biden steps down, Congress declares war, and President Kamala says "This is No Time For An Election".

You're assuming that they'll engage in an invasion and not a blockade or bombardment from the shoreline. Missiles have a lot of range to them and if the US loses its shit and decides to destroy TSCM facilities, the island loses its own strategic advantage.

My favorite is the revolving set of hysterical phrases that takes up half the thumbnail, like THIS IS BAD, IT'S OVER, and THEY WANT HIM GONE. Some of the really lazy ones just use single words like HELL or DOOMED.
