I strongly suspect that getting Kamala across the finish line via fraud simply isn't doable in this election.

That two states she really needs (Pennsylvania and Michigan) both having Democrat governors who want to run in 2028 gives me more hope about a lack of cheating than anything the Republicans are doing. Neither Shapiro or Whitmer want to wait until 2032 to run.

I don't see why it's so difficult for Kamala to prove she worked at McDonalds.

I think it would go smoothly as she answers softball questions from her teleprompter, which is really bad. Trump can start a national conversation about him by flipping a few burgers. Kamala plays everything WAY too safe, she desperately needs something that gets attention. She needs a real town hall and be willing to address difficult questions and actually talk policy.

The "it was rigged" was all cope. All the "evidence" that got posted was shit like a doofus opening up a file in a hex editor and holding the PgDn key, taking a screencap of that, then going to X "VOTE CHANGING REVEALED". All of it was like that. There were plenty of election judges and workers behaving shitty, shutting out monitors, getting dragged to court, but not one of the Trump election team lawyers brought a bona fide to a judge that vote changing and overvoting occurred. Even in shitty Maricopa County.

It wouldn't have mattered. If any judge had declared election interference or rigging, it would have delegitimized the national election. A national election being delegitimized "officially" would have set up one of the two political parties in the US as being someone who rigged the election to win.

That's the start of a civil war.

There's no alternative at that point, cause Biden and the handlers that have ran the country the last 4 years sure as shit weren't going to go "Oh Gosh, ya caught us dead to rights, guess we'll all go home and try again next time." Hell no, they would have told the Judge that it was cute that he made that ruling and they'd love to see him enforce it, an hour or two before they drone strike his entire gated community, as well as the entire Trump legal team -- and Trump, and any MAGA affiliated politicians, to boot. Probably blame it on Russia or Iran or something, who knows? Who cares, at that point, because anyone questioning it wouldn't be long for the world.

No. No Judge is going to be the one that signs off on a judicial decision that throws us immediately into civil war, period. Not unless it's a true believer who they can't get ANY blackmail or extortion material on. I.e., he has no wife, no kids, no family, no friends to threaten. Because I absolutely believe if one of those Judges in 2020 had decided to honestly and ethically take a look at things, they would have had extremely friendly men in suits awaiting them at their house that evening to have a polite, but firm, discussion on their future. I wouldn't be surprised, at all, to find that this actually happened once or twice.

Rigging an election is de-facto legal in the US because recognizing one of our national parties as having rigged an election is too big a thing to have happen. This will continue until they fuck up somehow -- and since a lot of their street level activists are black women, it's only a matter of time -- and it becomes so blatantly obvious that they can't cover it up. That's when the fun begins.

You know, that's a good point. She has to actively certify the election, she can't just storm off and get drunk for the next 4 months. She can't just ignore it. She has to actively take a step in bringing Trump in for his third victory and second term.

... I absolutely could see her refusing to do so. Especially if they can claim any bullshit. Like, if they get some RINO activists or strangely pink haired Transsexual MAGA Republicans to get caught "rigging" the election, throwing it into doubt. Remember, the left loves to weaponize projection. If they're rigging elections you have to know they'd LOVE to get "evidence" of the right rigging elections, if nothing else to justify them rigging them post-hoc. "We're just doing it to be fair." (This was an actual justification I heard in 2012 on a far lefty blog. "The republicans cheat so we have to fudge the numbers a little, just to make things fair. People agree with us more than them and we'd win elections if not for them cheating, so it's ok.")

But for real, what the hell happens if Kamala refuses to do her job? I mean, again. Is there a remedy there? Just pretend she did certify? Bring in a backup? 25th Biden and her immediately and let Pelosi do it?

Quiet in the sense it's not really talked about as much as previous ejection years. Maybe I've just become more disconnected from media in general so I'm just not seeing it but before it feels like their would be big lead up, tv specials (vote or die motherfucker!), history of the elections, parody songs, banners, etc.

I guess you could interpret it as people having had their minds made up for a while. Which in my opinion is true, 90+% of the people voting for Trump have made this decision years ago. A lot of the independents probably cemented around the time of his conviction, and then much of the remainder from the Biden drop-out.

As bad as 2020 was, this election is the first I can genuinely say I don't know who to actually believe and trust. Every poll has issues, the polymarket betting means nothing, there seems to be no one in the middle and people are either "KAMALA SWEEP" or "MAGA SWEEP".

I won't blow smoke up anyone's ass and I hope Trump wins (more because funny), but after the last election, I can't say I have any faith in the process and I don't know how this is going to end.
