I know it's a bit of screaming into the wind, but how fuckign hard is it to be an neutral source of news? Sure, I know it's impossible to be unbiased, that is a given, but how hard is it to have respect for the viewer and give them the information without your opinion peppering the script you fucking hacks? The moment you start to glaze LIZ FUCKING CHENEY is the moment you have lost your goddamn mind. Another thing comes to mind as well, how can we correct this? Can we ever go back to something approaching normal?
Incredibly difficult when you are living in fantasy land where you believe it to be objective fact that cutting your dick off and believing really hard turns a man into a woman

You don’t see an actually talented actor like Viggo Mortensen sperg on social media going “Heya Chuds! Aragorn here! Trump is Sauron so vote for Kamala ok?”
Mind you, Viggo Mortensen is as leftist as they come. You can see him giving support to all things globohomo. At the very least, he doesn't make a fuss about it. He just says "I'm for it" and that's it.

If only the rest of famous pretenders followed Mortensen's example, things would be much better and disdain for celebrities' opinions wouldn't be so high. But no, they have to make it this humongous issue. Even decent and usually quiet actors like Tom Hanks and Bryan Cranston are now getting high out of their own farts.

Is this all a feint to make Trump voters complacent, or to spook Dems into turning out?

I'm not trying to be a doomer. I get worried when things start going *too* well. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Oh trust me after 2020 a lot of Trump supporters are not complacent. Tomorrow I intended to vote early at my local library. I wish we could vote multiple times to fuck with dems but you know. I honestly think she’s such a turd sandwich that no one is excited to vote for her. For once I have a little white pill about the election.

Mark is a sad case of an actor who doesn’t have much else going for him but a big part in a popular movie four decades ago.
What's really sad about Mark is he is a serious actor who has worked with some of the greats in Hollywood. One of his best and most underrated films was The Big Red One, where he worked with Lee Marvin and Samuel Fuller. Lee Marvin put all the younger guys through a military-style boot camp in preparation for the film and treated them like they were his soldiers.

How the fuck do you work directly with such talented people and turn into such a sniveling toad? Lee Marvin and Sam Fuller were both hardcore combat veterans of WWII (Marvin fought in the Pacific and was wounded in action in Saipan; Fuller fought in the 1st ID and got both a Silver Star and Purple Heart and he fought on Omaha Beach with George A Taylor).

All this talk of "joy" has reminded me on an article from 2020:
The unexpected joy at a Trump rally in Iowa | Archive
trump_joy_2020.jpg
At the Des Moines rally impeachment was treated by Trump and his fans as something to mock. Trump went on a long tangent about how the Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, and even Andrew Johnson impeachments were “dark” times in American history. In contrast, Trump said, “This is a happy period for us.”

They’re all fucked and stuck in their little globohomo communist bubble.

(Unlike Viggo Mortensen apparently. One of the few with real talent.)

Cranston and Hanks & co. All get their dick sucked on daily basis to the point where the mindrot starts and they go from: “People sure like that role I played on that one show/movie!” to: “People sure think I’m important! They heed and value my opinion!”

Sad, really.

Perhaps if Hollywood hasn’t been such a god forsaken ideological gulag, SW wouldn’t be such a shitshow, and we’d get more shows like Breaking Bad.

Its like how lefties can say whites commit all the mass shootings, of course they know minorities do them, but its different because they don't consider minorities people.
Explains the odd and strong support for Israel from them.

They still insisting that they love the eternal brown while providing weapons to Israel for blowing them up.

If Dems could rig the election then they would have kept Kamala in a basement instead of having her go places and make herself look weak constantly. Everything suggests that Trump is going to win by popular vote and with each passing day this realisation sinks deeper and deeper. What we see now is a desperate coping of smug retards who know they cannot win.
Also, Joe Biden was Obama's VP with decades-long career, meanwhile Kamala is hated even by her own team members - you think that the whole party is going risk biggest scandal in US history for her? Really?

Mark has had a pretty long and successful career as a voice actor, so he wasn't a total has been in entertainment. But instead of embracing voice acting like Keth David, it feels like Mark has a bitterness that he didn't get to stay in traditional movies like Harrison Ford.

I'm trying to focus on how funny a Kamala Harris presidency would be. It doesn't hurt to have all your copes in order, just in case.

They would be spending more time trying to sell the idea that it's legitimate and failing horribly because no one in Kamalas corner can bother keeping a straight face. 2024 isn't a 2020 nor 2021 for the Democrats, they won't be able to sell a steal anywhere near as effectively.

For example, she has spent zero time establishing jurisdiction even though she admits that the defamer is a California resident, and the statements are owned by a New York company (which is incorporated in Delaware). Neither of which are Florida where this was filed.
I disagree, sort of. Her being a resident of Florida, plus Maher and HBO being on national TV which airs in Florida is going to grant Florida courts and federal courts in Florida jurisdiction.
Her lawyer probably could have spent more time beefing up that section, like adding magic words like “purposefully availed themselves of the forum” and other key phrases from the world wide Volkswagen test. And they should have threaded the needle on HBO, because the facts as pled do seem to only get Specific Jurisdiction over Maher. But I do think it’s sufficient to give the court jurisdiction, even if just barely and quite sloppily done.

That said, the case is almost definitely not going to succeed. Too many wiggle room words for HBO and Maher, and Loomer is (probably) a public figure and she hasn’t pled facts sufficient to show actual malice. The only big question is if this gets crushed at the MTD stage or is able to plead facts such that it survives to get killed in the summary judgment stage.

how funny a Kamala Harris presidency would be
Four years without a single word slipping out into national attention regarding a supposed alcohol problem, supposed severe social anxiety, and supposed extreme anger issues. The pressure cooker would explode eventually. All it takes is one bad day from one pissed off zoomer staffer.

Pretty much every world leader would be laughing in her face and not taking her seriously. Maybe except the - no, no even the women would laugh at her. Everyone would laugh at her.

Imagine, media having to swallow down its vomit after about two months when they realize they have to hype up the dumb cunt for four years, and Orange Man has stepped out of the main spotlight because he would have no more interest in the presidency if he lost. They would have to talk about Kamala Harris for four years, and try to sell her as the best thing since sliced bread, without Donald there to be their Orange Man.

The first woman president to set the precedent? Kamala Harris. She would give the public the impression of what to expect from women in the most powerful leadership position in the country, no, ANY leadership position.

She would be inevitably linked to DEI and its hiring practices despite her so-called credentials, because her entire political gimmick is tied to her race. This memetic association would be ESPECIALLY linked to Black and Indian women, not just women.

Sounds pretty funny to me! Honk honk!

What a mark for himself.
Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Ben Kingsley and even Robert DeNiro embraced the kitsch values of their late-career roles, and still remain loved by the masses and respected by those who understand the value of acting. Why couldn't Hamill do the same? Pretty much every other accomplished actor that bitched about not being taken seriously due to certain roles are remembered just for those particular ones, like his co-star Sir Alec Guiness. Now all he has going are being in Star Wars and Batman media, and maybe Wing Commander and a guest appearance on The Simpsons.

I also bet Ford in particular is bitter as fuck that Short Round has an Oscar and he doesn't.

I'm sick of childless cat ladies giving cat owners/normal cat ladies a bad rep.

Cats are awesome and I love them.

And btw, most cats are actually great with babies and children. Cats love kids ... More than these harpies do, that's for sure.
A still from the video I posted earlier might brighten your day! I know I lol'd.

Also Star Wars is a mistake, it’s still fat and I’ll never have sex with it.
The only good Star Wars movie is the original Star Wars (I refuse to call it Episode IV or a New Hope). If you think about it, the plot twist from The Empire Strikes Back is completely retarded and it ruins the immersion. It also started this trend where everyone in big stories is related and the universe feels smaller because of it.

The "it was rigged" was all cope. All the "evidence" that got posted was shit like a doofus opening up a file in a hex editor and holding the PgDn key, taking a screencap of that, then going to X "VOTE CHANGING REVEALED". All of it was like that. There were plenty of election judges and workers behaving shitty, shutting out monitors, getting dragged to court, but not one of the Trump election team lawyers brought a bona fide to a judge that vote changing and overvoting occurred. Even in shitty Maricopa County.
It's impossible to say one way or the other. There absolutely was fishy behavior. By Russiagate standards it was an absolute smoking gun and absolutely fair game to push. No real evidence was gathered beyond suspicious behavior because Trump's legal team was cobbled together at the last minute and some of the bigger names were publicly threatened into dropping him. There's not a lot of precedent for how you litigate against election irregularities so without legal big guns getting anything in the way of answers was always at best a long shot. The grifters like Sidney Powell and Lin Wood latching onto it did not help matters at all.
This time around the RNC is doing everything it can to stamp out any doubts. I imagine if something suspicious occurs again they'll get some sort of answers.
LOL, all the Hamill bashing. My proudest moment (sorta.. lately at least) is when I bashed his signed pic and posted that on here. Also, Ryan's going after him hard today too.
In fairness he's probably not being untruthful and I doubt Fisher would disagree or fault him for using her corpse as a soapbox. She was no better than him. All of the faces of classic Star Wars were/are truly nasty people behind the scenes, Harrison Ford very much included. The reason he played Han Solo so well is largely due to him being exactly like that in real life, just without the hidden heroic qualities.
