Someone from AHS's Discord server posted a video about it back in 2020, though here's the video before the uploader deleted it - I don't know if anyone was ever arrested:

One of the things I will never understand is how these anti hate warriors got so powerful online and how and why we gave them so much control.
We need a dedicated salt mine thread somewhere on the site if he wins.
Yeah we will need a salt mine thread sadly.

I wonder how much Dems are regretting that last minute switch to Kamala? Yeah, she’s younger than Biden, but that’s about the only upside. She has no charisma, can’t speak without a teleprompter/lots of notes, and isn’t upfront about any real policy, so even other Dems are unsure of what she actually supports. I’m thinking that if they stuck it through with Biden, they would be in a better spot right now.
I understand Biden stepping down, Trump would have ridden his shitty debate performance all the way to November 5th. On the other hand Biden can handle a sit down interview pretty well, he can do those like second nature no matter how many rocks he has in his head. What I don't understand is why they went forward with Harris, the Dems didn't have a ton of options but surely there must have been someone out there. I'm starting to think that even Newsom would have been a better pick, and I think Newsom is a retard.

Uhhhhh ... Biden's last 2 sit down interviews post-debate were a nuclear meltdown of epic proportions though. Not that Kamala has done remotely better, though. lol.

The only advantage Joe had over Kamala was the "silly grandpa" image ... But that image quickly became an "oh shit, grandpa needs to be put into a home" realization after that debate.

Joe or Kamala ... Two disastrous candidates tied to and responsible for a disastrous administration.

No Republican has won the presidency since Arizona became a state, without winning that state.

With Meghan McCain's batsignal that she will air dirty laundry about Kamala if Democrat talking heads don't shut up about her dad, that let them know that her mother (Cindy McCain) is not going to oppose Trump.

The McCains command 5 whole points of Arizona vote since they are the social top of the Defense Contractor and Trophy Wife pyramid in that state.

So Arizona is a lock for Trump.

The Abrams wave died in Georgia and this time Trump is polling well there. Not outside MOE most of the time, but good enough to say GA is a lock.

With those two states, Trump has been polling super well in Nevada all summer. He may actually flip it back. IF that happens, PA or NC wins the White House. And NC is looking mighty good.

In person voting is already in progress in FL and TX and yesterday's first-day in-person was so swamped hard for Trump (R+17 in Palm Beach!), and in Texas lines were going outside some rural polling places, it's looking very, very good.
Not so fast, chud. Those Republicans you see there? They have been pushed into action because Trump is a danger to our democracy. They can't wait to vote for Kamala. More Republican registered voters doesn't mean they will actually vote Republican, MAGAt

They're deranged ideologues who have nothing better to do with their time. It's like how authoritarian busybodies regularly get elected to city councils, homeowners associations, and such because they're willing to invest an amount of time and energy to climb a ladder that's completely irrational to any well-adjusted person who doesn't get off on imposing their will on others.

said alternative has still to agree, especially with current circumstances.
newson and everyone else is probably waiting for 2028 for an easier run against vance, and after 4 years of trump which will probably shit for a while but necessary.

Every time something happens in this election cycle I can't help but be reminded of a certain piece of insanely popular lefty media. As with most lefty media, when it starts to reflect reality it turns out that despite their best efforts they've cast themselves as the antagonists of the piece and just let it quietly die in the background.

I'm talking about Hamilton. Specifically, the the song "The Election of 1800" has some eerie parallels to this year's election cycle, to the point where you could just swap out the names of the characters and it'd almost fit to a T. Of course, I won't stand for almost fitting to a T, so I made a few additional edits myself:

[FULL COMPANY]
The election of 2024

[Trump]
Can we get back to policies?

[Vance]
Please?

[Trump]
Yo. Ev’ry action has an equal, opposite reaction
Joe Biden shat the bed. I hate that guy, now he’s in traction
Poor Robert Kennedy? He is missing in action
So now I’m facing—

[Trump AND Vance]
Kamala Harris!

[Trump]
With her own faction

[Vance]
She’s very attractive on the coasts, New Yorkers like her chances

[Trump]
She’s not very forthcoming on any particular stances

[Vance]
Ask her a question: it glances off, she obfuscates, she dances

[Trump]
And they say I’m a chauvanist, at least they know I know what a woman is!

[Vance]
Donald that’s the problem, see, they see Harris as a less extreme you

[Trump]
Ha!

[Vance]
You need to stay the course, but a key endorsement might redeem you

[Trump]
I thought we got Surf Mommy

[Vance]
Not just Tulsi

[Trump]
Who is it?

[Vance]
He used to run for the other party

[Trump]
Whaaaat

[Vance]
It might be nice, it might be nice
To get RFK on your side

[Trump AND Vance]
It might be nice, it might be nice
To get RFK on your side

[TWO MEN VOTERS]
In love with himself!

[FEMALE VOTER 1]

[TWO WOMEN]
I like that Kamala Harris!

[FEMALE VOTER 2]
I can’t believe we’re here with her!

[MALE VOTER 1]
She seems approachable…?

[MALE VOTER 2]
Like you could drown in wine with her!

[ENSEMBLE]
Dear Mr. Kennedy: your fellow independents want to know how you’ll be voting

[HAMILTON]
It’s quiet uptown

[ENSEMBLE]
Dear Mr. Kennedy: Joe Biden doesn’t stand a chance, so who are you promoting?

[HAMILTON]
It’s quiet uptown

[MEN, WOMEN, & BOTH]
Trump or Harris?
Trump or Harris?
We know it’s lose-lose
Trump or Harris?
Trump or Harris?
But if you had to choose

[EVEN MORE VOTERS & MEN AND WOMEN]
Dear Mr. Kennedy: (Trump or Harris?)
Joe Biden doesn’t stand a chance so who are you promoting? (We know it’s lose-lose
Trump or Harris?)
But if you had to choose (But if you had to choose)

[Kennedy]

[Harris]
Honestly, it’s got me drinking

[Kennedy]
Harris—

[Harris]
Sir!

[Kennedy]
Is there anything you wouldn’t do?

[Harris]
No. I’m chasing what I want
And you know what?

[Kennedy]
What?

[Harris]
I learned that from you

[ENSEMBLE]
If you had to choose
If you had to choose

[Vance]
It’s a tie!

[ENSEMBLE]
If you had to choose
If you had to choose

[Trump]
It’s up to the delegates!

[ENSEMBLE]
If you had to choose
If you had to choose

[Trump/Vance]
It’s up to RFK!

[VOTERS & Vance AND ENSEMBLE]
If you had to choose (Trump or Harris?)
If you had to choose
If you had to
Choose (Choose)
Choose (Choose)

[Kennedy]
Yo

[ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
The people are asking to hear my voice

[ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
For the country is facing a difficult choice

[ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
And if you were to ask me who I’d promote—

[ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
—Donald Trump has my vote

[Trump/Vance/ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
I have only agreed with Donald Trump once

[Trump/Vance/ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
We have fought on like seventy-five diff’rent fronts

[Trump/Vance/ENSEMBLE]
Oh!

[Kennedy]
But when all is said and all is done
Donald Trump has beliefs. Harris has none

[ENSEMBLE]
Oooooooooooooh

[Vance AND Trump]
Well, I’ll be damned
Well, I’ll be damned

[Vance]
RFK's on your side

[ENSEMBLE]
Well, I’ll be damned
Well, I’ll be damned

[Trump]
And?

[Vance]
You won in a landslide

[Harris]
Congrats on a race well-run
I did give you a fight

[Trump]
Uh-huh

[Harris]
I look forward to your impeachment

[Trump]
My impeachment?

[Harris]
And subsequent imprisonment

[Trump]
Ha. Yeah, right
You hear this chick? Girl openly lies about me, talkin’ bout, “I look forward to your impeachment.”

[Vance]
It’s crazy that the party who loses can litigate for four years, but that's the precedent

[Trump]
Ooh!, you know what? We can change that. You know why?

[Vance]
Why?

[Trump]
‘cuz I’m the President. Hey, Harris, when you see RFK, thank him for the endorsement

I think it had to be Kamala or they lose their donations

I'm not sure though

Could have also just been a "running a former VP has historically been a good option. Biden was Obama's after all", but Obama was liked as a president, Biden isn't.

I honestly believe that the Dems put themselves in a Catch 22 with this election.
They did it because Kamala was conveniently enough of a minority that it would entice Dem voters in 2020 (and this was peak BLM).

Biden was the establishment choice because he would do as he was told, and overall had the look and demeanor believed to appeal to moderates. Only big problem was Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, but the media spent so much time gaslighting the public on how bad it actually was. Then they weren’t able to pretend after his awful debate performance, so Kamala was thrown into the spotlight. It would’ve looked bad for the Dems to not choose Biden’s VP, as a VP is meant to take the place of the president when a president is unfit to govern.

That said, a better solution would have been for Biden to not run for reelection as a whole, and for him to either pass the torch to Kamala in early 2023, or allow for another primary with new candidates to choose from long before the election. Instead, it was all incredibly hasty, and so even if Kamala had the most ideal campaign, she was set up to fail because the establishment gave her way too little time to form a strong case for her presidency.

The leaders blame supporters, supporters blame everyone but the leaders, nobody learns shit.

They fall for the same media that calls Trump “the next Hitler,” and it’s frustrating. It’s why I have a hard time taking Euroswine seriously when they talk about American politics.
It's because of a very biased news media. We get the cliffnotes of US politics in the UK, I'd imagine the same in most of Europe, and that leaves out a lot. I've confused many people with both the "bipartisan" bills relating to abortion and immigration by citing the key points of those and people are shocked by how much is hidden by the short articles they've heard. Hearing "how many illegals a month?" and "termination at how many months!" is very gratifying.

he judges and attorneys involved should all be disbarred and imprisoned.
Or them and their entire fuckign familes should be trotted out in show trials when/if Trump wins. Fuck it, at this point need McCarthy hearings 2.0, with the death penalty as the sole punishment. If you were found to be doing commie/marxist shit, you should be put to death. Only after the trials though, only after the "fairness" being what Rudy and Alex got. After full and "fair" trial, i want you put to death, in glorious 4k.. put it on PPV, make a few bucks, why not.

Yeah, I imagine that’s the main reason. I have similar issues with finding good news sources for countries outside the US sometimes as well, which is why I have a healthy degree of skepticism with it. I’ll like some foreign politicians for their policy with the US, but that doesn’t mean the domestic policy they have is good.

They did it because Kamala was conveniently enough of a minority that it would entice Dem voters in 2020 (and this was peak BLM).
She's also purported to be quite good at navigating inner party politics and had 4 years to solidify her position as Biden's electoral successor, bolstered by the natural tendency to run the VP as the next candidate. She was largely absent from the public eye for most of Biden's tenure, especially after the midterms when her tie-breaking vote was no longer needed in the senate. No doubt she was making use of that time to her own ends. I imagine she intended to run after Biden had served two terms and jumped at the chance to move her long term plan 4 years forward.
