Constitutionally it is the right call. The changes were not made by the state Congress, but instead by a governor appointed committee. People are annoyed at how that only seems to get applied one way though.

For a vice president that was supposed to be a milquetoast nothing adding a few people to the vote totals. I think all of the ideas used to promote her basically never changed from when she was supposed to just be a placeholder VP ready to do bureaucratic duties as assigned in the event of the elderly president's death. No agenda of her own, "I will follow the law." That's what you want from a VP who becomes prez due to a death in office...don't do too much of your own, follow the previous guy's plan, give people a good fuzzy feeling.

I don’t understand how the mega banks have any customers. They charge enormous fees and pay zero interest while their smaller competitors have no fees and pay slightly below the market rate. Literally every other FDIC-insured bank is better than them.

If you are Joe Schmoe with $50 in his account, then they will cater little to you, but if you start putting in real cash, then they waive all the fees and actually start to (at least pretend) care about your patronage. I've had Bank of America for the longest time, and enough cash in it that they actually attempt good customer service, almost all the fees get waived for me, and they bump my cash back on online purchases to 5%.

I've always considered that a draw back tbh, I've had many mobile first banks that pulled stuff like requiring a mobile app for everything and not even having a desktop browser version for online banking.
