I'm not necessarily a Monarchist, either, just a rightist who doesn't like any American option and doesn't like democracy. I'd tell you to shut the fuck up, but it really sounds like you need to get what's really wrong out of your system. Go on, let it all out. I won't judge you. But go on. Tell the class how you feel and switch it up a bit.

  • Maricopa County, AZ?
  • Fulton County, GA?
  • Milwaukee County, WI?
  • Wayne County, MI?
  • Philadelphia County, PA?
  • Wake, Durham, Orange, and Mecklenburg Counties, NC?
  • Clark County, NV?

Early voting is already underway. I think that if they were going to do it they would have. I'm very surprised they haven't though.

I don't even know anybody who is in that kind of a mode, even corporate Republicans that aren't of the usual suspects (dudes who have cushy defense contracts). I know where to find them on a golf course, but not in a truck repair shop.

The Raytheon Republicans can't even do influencing on social media right, they're such boomers.

Dem political figureheads have completely lost control of the narrative, so I'm fully expecting social unrest if Trump wins. It doesn't matter how many times Obama says "we gotta tone down the rhetoric ya'll", we know from the Summer of Love that once people start raging that all the actors and politicians and weekday talk show hosts will try to further encourage it until a few more urban centers are reduced to smoldering ruin.

That being said, I'm not sure how much fatigue is or isn't out there, and if "Cheeto Hitler winning again" is going to be enough for people to take to the streets to any similar degree as 2020. It's really hard for me to say. But both sides seem to be taking expectations into election day at full freight train impact currently.

I can see that happening, but if said-audio exists, then the Harris campaign missed a golden opportunity to play the tape at this "press conference" today.

That would have been a huge mic drop moment for Kamala; one that would have energized her base, one that would have led to TikTok remixes, etc.
