This. Early voting has already started, and there is more widespread Republican enthusiasm and depressed Democrat turnout than expected. The media has been freaking out about it this week.

Lots of people are saying that in order for the Democrats to have a chance at this election, they need to have a stronger turnout than normal on election day (which is an uphill battle for them).

It's better to release any said-audio now (or, hell, last week) to convince independent voters to come to their side. Independents are coming out in a bigger turnout than expected for early voting as well ... If you wait until the last second, then there aren't going to be enough Independents to convince to sway the election on Election Day.

If the Democrats actually had something that wasn't just anecdotal, then I absolutely guarantee they would have released it by now. It would have been played in all of the ads just before early voting kicked off.

This "press conference" and this "article" is a Hail Mary from a very desperate campaign.

Same people who unironically say it's 100% fact that Kamala worked McDonalds, even though there's no record of her ever having done so, because Trump hasn't "provided the disproof."

Regardless of the issue, the burden of proof is always on the side that helps them out more. It's getting really fucking tedious.

I agree on this if they had anything at all we would have seen it by now, it would have been used in 2020. They have nothing on this man and never have.For over 8 years they have tried to destroy him and all they could muster were asinine legal charges that have virtually added up to nothing. He may actually be the cleanest non corrupt individual to ever be in the white House. If there were anything out there that would destroy him it would have been revealed years ago.

I'm not feeling the absurd certainty that Clinton had in Kamala. This is probably going to insulate the left from the worst of the cognitive dissonance ("Our win is assured because the entire country agrees with us" + "we didn't win because more than half the country voted against us") this time. At the same time, they've "meddlesome priest'd" Trump up enough that he's had two open assassination attempts on his life, and that's not going to go away magically on November 6th.

In short, I'd expect a bit of performative rioting after he wins but not much. However I fully expect a full blow summer of love for the net 4 years as the rioting is meant to harm Trump through harming America, and it's about the time in the cycle that the marxists will start using pipe bombs to try and incite that cultural revolution they were promised by their gender studies teachers.

If Trump wins but they rig shit? I still don't think we're at the point where hunting rifles will fall into lakes and magically start causing recounts under Rule 308, but, we'll see. It depends on if they're as smug as they were in 2020.

And the article from the Atlantic comes from a book published in 2022 that says he praised Hitler's generals, based on more "anonymous sources".

It's a redux of "losers and suckers": a lie published by a "respectable" outlet that won't name its primary sources, but will nonetheless get around the world before the truth can get its shoes on.
