What are some dumb millennial traits that gen z's avoid?

There's never any opportunity to post this random thing I found on /wsg/ but this thread is as good as any given the themes. I'm sorry Zoomie Zooms...I'm so sorry...:

They don't put college on a pedestal like the millenials did. Millenials always jerked themselves off about being "educated" because they paid 5 figures for a piece of paper at an adult daycare while many zoomers realize how much of a sham the college system is.

I think zoomers are better at recognising the dangers of modern tech, even if we don't necessarily have a better relationship with it. Most everyone I've spoken to who uses a flip phone is Gen Z, whereas millennials would never ditch their smart devices in a billion years, which is ironic given that they're the ones who grew up without them.

I think generational astrology is gay but there is a key difference between millennials and zoomers: millennials believe it’s their job to save the world and zoomers believe it’s too late for all that. All their behaviors ultimately derive from that core assumption.

Millions of millennials are now middle aged and are just starting to come to terms with the fact that we’re not gonna save the world. Millennials are as obnoxious as boomers about being middle aged. Only difference is that millennials can’t afford getting a convertible when they turn 40. So you just get the obnoxious whining without the cool cars. Millennials are just the shitty low rent version of boomers.

That's false; I know I need an education because I won't be able to survive without it. A bachelor's degree now carries the same weight a high school degree did 30 years ago, so if you see Zoomers not talking about how educated they are, it's because a 4-year degree is now the bare minimum.

My parents were baffled when I didn't want a smart phone. I never liked texting, and I don't need to have an email and a camera and a notepad and Discord and whatever on me all the time. Physical buttons are just so much better, I've liked flip phones (or at least the style in which they're now made) my whole life. As a bonus, I can pretend it's a henshin device from Dekaranger or a similar Sentai!

Feels like a cycle no generation is too smart for. "Bruh become a carpenter! I did! I'm rich!"... "Nah dude IT!", then the pajeets took over. "Noo, hard labor!". But now they can't fill the classrooms or find teachers cause they all went over to IT.

I feel like I came to a revelation recently as to why Zoomers are the way they are. I generally have given up on mass media for the most part for the past decade, focusing on real hobbies, work, and life in general. The last Marvel movie I saw was maybe the second Iron Man? I ended up watching one of the new ones, with Deadpool and Wolverine, and had to stop halfway through. It was legitimately horrifying. It was so viscerally painful to watch. I had this acute sense of second-hand embarrassment the whole time it was on. But the most terrible aspect was my realization that a huge number of Millennial people enjoy this. They enjoy it enthusiastically and deeply. I think I would have been less horrified to find out that they jack off to pictures of dead people. They must have been gradually conditioned by previous entries in the series to actually revel in movies like this, and if the Zoomer apathy and fear of heartfelt enthusiasm was born from horror at this sort of cringe event horizon that Millennials have apparently slipped beyond then I honestly can't blame the little fucks.

Yeah it feels like there's always that one line of work that everyone goes to like a gold rush. The rise and fall of tech as the go-to career happened during my 27 years on this earth and now "learn to code" has turned into "learn to weld". I wonder if 15 years from now we'll have a ton of underemployed trade school graduates.

Just don't fall for meme careers and actually do your research and maybe try different things.

I think it would suck to grow up now and I wish Gen Z the best luck with having to grow up in this god awful time with all the faggots thinking they are a different gender and all the niggers and immigrants think they are somehow special and running around starting actual shit fights.

I'm an older Millennial,, born in 1982. Even in my own generation, I noticed a kind of divide. An old buddy's younger brother was born in '93. When I was 14, the internet was a very simple place you could only access via a desktop computer. You had to sit down, visit the websites you wanted to see or check your email, then you got up and left it. When my buddy's younger brother was 14, he had an iPhone in his pocket. The aughts were a time of rapid change in technology, and smartphones really fucked up younger Millennials.

The same can be said for Zoomers, but the problem is exponentially worse. The have these black mirrors glued to their hands that pump their brains full of all sorts of bullshit 24/7. Social media (among other things) has made everything much worse very fast. My own generation played a major role in that, too, unfortunately.

I feel bad for Zoomers. As annoying as they can sometimes be, they've had a metric fuck-ton of bullshit shoved into their brains from a very early age, and as a result most of them are confused and feel lost. I'm sure all the bullshit in the past 8 years has really jaded many of them. I'm not sure how most of them view covid and other events in 2020, but I wouldn't be surprised if it jaded many of them like 9/11 and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq jaded a lot of guys my age.

I definitely notice a tendency toward embracing what used to be fringe political/social beliefs and causes. There's also a very high amount of autism too, and what seems to be a general anxiety around social interactions. It seems like many of them can't socialize properly without a screen mediating. I'm not sure how widespread that problem is, but I've definitely noticed it.

"My phone told me that zoomers can't live without their phone". Welcome to the present day, retard. Everyone is reliant on computers. Gone are the days where you could march up to Mr. Google with a smile on your face, slap a physical resumé on his desk and say "Mr. Google, I would like a job!"
ah sorry tard I'll be more specific, they can't live without infinite access to social media. The rest of that bored me also.
