Lot of older folks are in denial about the state of the country, and blame Trump for it. They see him as the cause, not the symptom. Little, or actively refusing to see reality.

I think its hard for these types to wake up one day, and realize they've been lied to, and the country is actually going to shit. So they double-down on the denial. Or they could just be faggots if you want to be less charitable.

Hillary fuckin' Clinton had more depth then Kamala. Hell, she has more experience. I hated that old bird, but she was Sec. of State and she was the wife of a former president. Carter austerity made a lot of people mad but the biggest driver of 1980 socially was the very bad taste people had in their mouths of Democrat infrastructure, from the unions and just wave after wave after wave of batshit crazy armed militant activist groups.

If you go back to the Google machine and look at iconography of 70's radical movements, besides the black fist of power most of them also had the same AK-47 that the Hezbollah flag has. It was that insane.

Bomb threats were common, as were bank heists and robberies, and cities were in massive decline some like Chicago and Philadelphia were in absolute freefall. 1975-1983 there were several million people nationwide packing their homes up to move out to the suburbs to get away from the urban chaos.

Democrats also demanded school busing during Carter. That really put the nail in the coffin. Nobody liked that policy one bit.

Reagan wasn’t the worst president in the 20th century, but he was definitely one of the shittier ones, and for every thing he did right, he fucked up just as much.

This is a very subjective opinion, but I did actually like what I've seen from Reagan speeches, even if The Ronald had some policies that I disagree with. You will not convince me that he's worse than any of the presidents who came after him (Aside from Trump), just because he assumed that the congressional democrats were acting in good faith and tried to pass legislation with them. He was a decent dude and they fucked him over.
