The problem is in a lot of places the animals people like to hunt are overpopulated because humans have chased off or killed all their natural predators. My stance on hunting is if some of them (white tail deer in my area, but apply it to whatever) aren't put down humanely via bullet or arrow they're going to suffer, from starvation, disease, or just getting hit by a car

I'm not going to kill something without purpose, if I shoot something I'm either going to eat it, it's a nuisance on my property, or potentially something stalking my own animals, but I don't think trophy hunting (in the US) is any less valid, just not something I'm personally interested in. A certain number of the herd needs to be culled on a yearly basis to keep ecosystems healthy and hunting is just the way it has to happen at this point

In Louisiana/Texas you can hunt feral hogs, which are very dangerous and hurt children and livestock with no provocation. Farmers beg you to hunt them, they're a menace.

Doesn't account for the jobs that unemployed Americans would gain from higher tariffs and doing the jobs the illegal immigrants currently do. Also, would love ot know what the forecasts would do if we deported everyone who didn't have a job and how people being paid with illegal money and gaining benefits they aren't entitled to would effect the economy in the long term. Lots of variables here that aren't accounted for in their model.

Another thing, rought estimates put illegal immigration increasing by 4 million during the Biden campaign but illegal immigrant job estimates were increasing by less than a million. So we just take care of 3/4 of the world because 1/4 of them become a chattel underclass that does work for cheap? Doesn't seem right to me.

It is also making the argument that we should just stay on heroin because kicking would be painful upfront.

Illegal immigration is going to kill the US. Not to mention the fact that these people are advocating for total lawlessness while screaming that they are the party of law and order.

I would contend much of that can be offset with drill baby drill. All the illegals in the world can't be worth the biden fuel costs the way I see it. In part with how integral trucking is to many of those big businesses... but even trucking aside, how key energy costs are to pretty much every aspect of a business from the ground up.

Oh man, reading this filled me with dread lol. I've gone hog hunting a few times and they're absolute menaces, I won't do it anymore, at least not from the ground. I totally understand the appeal of hunting them from helicopters with with AR15s/AR10s even outside of the fact that it's just looks like fun, it's a safety measure
