If Walz wins the VP slot, the new governor might be more sympathetic to pardon him!
"So who is this Rekieta guy anyway?"
"Sir, have you heard of the balldo?"

Nick is in luck! This is after the national elections! If Walz wins the VP slot, the new governor might be more sympathetic to pardon him!
It'd be funny if it somehow became an election issue since he was such a big election fraud commentator. Too bad his coke stream arrest wasn't an October surprise.

Though, I suppose he could always make it one but raising enough of a stink and going to the media and appealing his omnibus hearing results.

I thought presidential pardons could only be granted to people convicted of federal crimes.
Walz could grant a pardon if he loses, as he'll still be governor of Minnesota.

I implied a Governors pardon by invoking the 'new governor'.

He's shot-talked Walz for years, so he is unlikely to be sympathetic.

And I just explained the joke so...

Remember, these people are not old money, and their wealth is very recent. They are noveau-riche who are still prone to poor-minded thinking as Nick's that 'expensive == better'. I would not trust them to be good judges of character.

These dimwitted fuckers have got Ty Beard on the payroll, FFS. We've seen how carefully he performs his legal responsibilities. He's hardly the kind of guy who makes sure he's dotted his i's and crossed his t's, is he?

Could there be some shit missing from this filing, because the MCRO, as you said in the past, updates shit sometimes even days late?
Doubt it. She said she'd argue it at the omnibus hearing. I suspect that her lawyer is hoping that the judge will order additional briefing to be submitted after the hearing.

Well, Nick actually articulated the arguments, so...so far he's better?
Nick and the Barneswalker failed to articulate any probable cause challenge with particularity, and it (and any other issues he could have raised) were deemed waived and DENIED

Therefore she's doing better than the Barneswalker on this so far, though basically by default
