Sorry to double post - just wanted to agree with this.

I've always suspected that the reason so many of them have that cognitive dissonance of saying "I love animals" but then also being into this kind of sick shit is that the monkey isn't a monkey to them but rather a representation of a human.

What they hate most of all, I think, is babies. Babies can be loud, annoying, smelly, needy, they can ruin your evening plans and financial and professional ambitions - and societally it's unacceptable to express anger about really any of that. And while most of us cope with that stress or anger, I think in some people it becomes... whatever the fuck this is. And Azdy's right - most of them would never admit it, but for some of them that's the rush. The rest are probably gore freaks, pedos and edge lords.

And I think ironically, from their point of view, they wouldn't hurt an animal. Because what they want to hurt is not an animal. Grossest of all, you can bet that if they had the ability to do this to an actual baby, their apparent 'hatred' of monkeys would dry up instantly. Monkeys are their Methadone.

I do think part of it is the societal expectation that all women become mothers - even women that are very much not suited for it.

We can all accept that there are a lot of men out there that shouldn’t be fathers. But we also need to stop calling women defective for being the exact same way. Just because we have a uterus doesn’t mean that’s our entire existence.

Forcing a loud needy thing on someone who doesn’t want a loud needy thing could absolutely lead to resentment. Kids ruin your life if you don’t want them, let’s just be honest here.

So I do think it’s resentment from the women, and from the men I imagine it’s overuse of porn needing more and more extreme things to get off to. Same outcome, different reasons.

Just my completely uneducated opinion based on the limited information I’ve seen. But the “why” certainly is always in the back of my mind.

Especially with crimes online, I'm sure that's unfortunately the case. Prolific producers/distributors of torture porn and CP are almost always difficult to catch, since they wouldn't make it very long if they didn't know how to hide their real IP, use cryptocurrency for transactions, and remove any identifying information from the files they upload. They usually only get caught when they slip up, get cocky, have someone IRL stumble across their activities, or find themselves involved in a major law enforcement sting.
