It's always unintentionally hilarious when you open Phil's stream because something like that is happening or he's begging.

In my short experience with gacha games (LLSIF the goat, fucking Bushiroad retards ruined it with AS and SIF2 fuck I'm mad now), new and freemium players always get all kinds of offers and "starter" packs that are good for the value. Like "2 dollars and a 10+1UR guaranteed pull" kind of deal as a way to get you hooked. Whales obviously have gone through all of those, so Phil being surprised to see the 200 dollar one means he probably already did it and was too drunk to remember.

As someone who just admitted to having played a cute, anime rhythm game, this is the gayest thing I've ever seen.

Because you still fail to grasp the idea that it's the streamer, not the game. Until you actually learn what that means, you'll continue in this same loop of hoping and praying for the one magical game that's going to come along save your career. You're still just sitting around waiting for game developers to give you the tools you need instead of actually learning how to entertain an audience.

It really is baffling that phil has been doing this for 15 years, and he still doesn't understand youtube/streaming.

He used to at least attempt to be entertaining by making jokes and references but he became too lazy to even do that and expects the chat to make his commentary interesting. His excuse being that he's not a children's entertainer.
