This reminds me of when I attended a fan gathering to watch a World Cup game in my city involving Brazil. The match would air live in the morning, and afterwards a few bands would take the stage to play and party on during the afternoon.

Brazil lost the match, and the bands still played as scheduled. It was awkward to see and hear everyone, from the musicians to the attendees, trying to put up a veneer of enthusiasm when they knew everything had went to shit.

I'm getting the exact same vibes here with Springsteen and everybody attending this rally.

Absolutely. Sanders could have attracted plenty of Trump voters. Especially if he had embraced some reasonable border/immigration protections.

In 2016 Sanders was (at least vocally) against illegal immigration. and talked about how it hurt workers. It's why I was Bernie Bro then. In 2020 he was pro-globohomo.
