What’s weird to me is how even 2nd generation jeets see themselves as Indian before citizens of whatever country they’re in. I can think of only a few groups that are like this but most prominently… the Jews. If they aren’t from India they don’t need to defend the place. I’m part German and I don’t need to defend Germany’s horrible immigrant policies or what the Nazis did.

It's because they're specifically taught NOT to assimilate with the local culture because they are "Superior" and shouldn't have to change.

It's the biggest problem with pretty much all modern immigration. We're a long way from Ellis Island, where immigrants are begging to be taught English and willing to change their names to fit in better.

These days we get Haitians, Somilians, and Pajeets that refuse to learn English, live off of government handouts, and spend all of their time trying to bring more people like them over.

I was walking my baby on the weekend to a local grocery store. As I was crossing the street, I saw an elderly man sitting with his shoes removed on grass of the verge (nature strip, curb strip, etc). It gave me pause and I considered my own grandparents. Sometimes they struggled on long walks in the sun. I wondered if he was OK. So as we walked by I approached him and asked if he was alright. He told me he was enjoying the sun. Then he asked, somewhat aggressively if I was enjoying the sun. I said “yeah, it’s OK”. Then he started scolding me and saying “this is a very bad thing you are doing”. It was at this point his features coalesced and I realised he was an Indian (albeit quite light skinned). I was taken aback and only said “I was only seeing if you are OK” then he started ranting about enjoying the sun and telling me to go away.

I ask the good people in this thread. Was this a typically Indian reaction or was he just mentally ill?
