There is a difference between The Critical Drinkers channel and "Comics Matter with Ya Boi Zack." When he's positive about something, he's just positive about it. When Zack is "positive" about something like Penguin (or Joker 2 for that matter) he still manages to come across as a mean, bitter loser. Does Zack not understand the idea of negativity? Negativity isn't mocking a bad show or movie for being bad, it's an attitude you take on your channel. Some channels are having genuine fun mocking Velma or The Rings of Power without coming across as angry. Zack never sounds like he's having fun.
1. Zack doesn't actually watch the people he criticizes. (Claiming that certain people do not watch the things they criticize is Zack projecting his own faults onto others.) Drinker and Gary and other BPCs love to praise things that are actually good. They do it pretty frequently, and Zack would know that if he actually watched their channels.
2. You are 100% right about the difference between Zack's channel and Drinker's, Gary's, G+G's, etc. It doesn't matter if you hate these "grifters and their grifter channels" or not, there is an undeniable difference in that the fans tuning into the BPC channels are having fun. It's a party atmosphere. People make jokes. People tease each other. You also have people sending superchats on a regular basis who talk about how inspired they are by the people running these channels.
Contrast all this with Zack, the uptight, depressing loner killjoy. He doesn't like people and he has no social skills. He doesn't want to relate to people, he wants to control people. He makes videos coping and seething about people more successful than he is. He makes videos scolding people who dare to criticize his precious Hollywood. He makes defensive videos bitching and moaning about people who critize him.
All you have to do to disprove Zack's fake news about how the BPCs are all hate, thrive on hate, do nothing but hate is to watch the latest video of the G+G/Gary/Rippa Texas meetup. There's no oppressive atmosphere of hate or anger, there are just people with smiles on their faces having a great time mingling.
Can you imagine Zack throwing a party for his own fans? Can you imagine him socializing with his own fans? He doesn't even respect his own customers enough to give them the things they paid for.
