Is this one different from Archie Sonic Online? Those guys are all in Sonic and Sally.
I'm fairly sure it was Archie Sonic Online but then again I don't really pay attention to it so it could just be dumbass me mistaking ASO for something else.

My only knowledge of this was some anon on /sthg/ a while ago sperging about it so unfortunately I don't have any image examples to reference said comic to ASO. Maybe TV Tropes has something to say about it?

Seems the whole "Amy doesn't love Sonic anymore!" was massively overblown. In hindsight, it was obvious some people were just cherrypicking, given that Amy's shtick in Frontiers is all about love and wanting to share it with the world.

good jokes and internet references, but that's about it.

I wouldn't want Boom to be looked at as the normal standard that should be set for anything Sonic related
Plus isn't Sonic Boom meant to be a direct parody of the characters and how they act? I'm pretty sure the point of boom and lot of it's humor stems from how out of character or exaggerated everyone acts

Couldn't have been. I read through it recently and the only lesbo thing they've done so far were for their own Original the Characters. Supposedly they are trying to continue the story to how it was likely going to happen and sticking to the characters as they were. We'll see how long that lasts.

Your /sthg/ guy may have been sperging about this. Although this is post-reboot and it's an animated film.

Oh, that! I've know that Richard Kuta sperged out over this a while back.

Honestly I don't know what to think of Sonic Villains, on one hand it does sound like an interesting concept in the sense that it's basically just the Spiderverse movies but with Sonic. Then again knowing the state of the fandom and various fan projects over the years, we're probably gonna see a mediocre product at best, or an absolutely hilarious trainwreck at worst.

They have Sonic.exe has one of their main villains, of coarse it's going to be an absolute travesty. And DARN IT, that's tradition! I'd refuse to watch it if it wasn't retarded.

The Paper Mario TTYD remake did irreparable damage to my faith in both established franchises and rereleases of any kind, no matter how good the original was. I’m glad I didn’t preorder this, because nothing is sacred and everything is offensive.
You have no idea how I dread the inevitability of a Dragon Ball game with a character creator and seeing my favorite franchise trooned out. It's gonna happen some day...

The one thing I can't get over regarding Sonic Boom is the redesigns, they look absolutely awful. Some worse than others, Knuckles especially got fucked over. I haven't even had a bit of desire to try the games or anything because of that.

Every time I hear that name I always think of the creator and what he did. I know that separating art from the artist is a thing but honestly? What can be salvaged from Sonic.EXE? Can Zoomers just learn to let go of a shitty early 2010's creepypasta made by some chomo furfag on DA?

Why the fuck is Sonic.exe so popular and prevalent? I remember back then everyone calling it shit and using it as a prime example of why creepypastas went to shit and now suddenly people like it
what happened
not to mention but there are a couple of horror elements in sonic itself and yet those go mostly unnoticed with the exception of maybe tails doll(ghosts, the various spooky stages, some other things i'm probably not remembering)
why that shit instead of anything else

Sonic X Shadow Generations has already passed one million sales.
hopefully this means post-launch support like frontiers got. when the original generations came out people were telling sega to release DLC with more levels and they didnt

I guess nostalgia? It helps that Sonic.exe was the creepypasta that popularized the haunted game sub-genre and was many peoples' very first creepypasta. I'm sure Sonic.exe alone jump started the creepypasta craze of the early 2010's. So even though it's not good, even people who like Sonic.exe would agree, people's memories of reading it the first are looking back on it with rose tinted glasses. And then Friday Night Funkin' happened. With no exaggeration, a mod of a game from Newgrounds resurrected Sonic.exe and made it nearly as relevant as Sonic himself.

As for the creator, the fandom doesn't really share any love for him either and effectively exiled him from his own creation.
