I'm 100 pages behind and catching up on highlights. I'm getting half info about anderson cooper and trump is hitler.

Could one of the kind Kiwis channel their inner Captain Planet and give me the 5 terrible powers of the democrats combined that have caused this weeks fuck up? Bullet points would be great.

General points:

- Shit incumbent administration, she was VP and can't distance herself.

- Reliant on people that aren't there on merit may work sometimes but over a period of 8 years it starts to show. Poor strategy decisions, wasted campaign funds, poor policy etc.

- Refusing to question the democrat establishment. Nobody wanted to upset Biden by challenging him on stepping down until it was too late and he was forced to, all of it has become too little too late.

- Related, his DEI VP appointment was poor and not the best choice at the time. They could never have expected her to be the presidential nominee or didn't plan ahead enough. She was weak but Trump was seen to just be unpopular and they'll get away with it.

Recent points:

- She refuses to work more than 5 days a week campaigning, sure that's fine 2 months ago but you need to campaign every day in a different swing state and get the message out there.

- She has done almost no unscripted campaigning for this election cycle, she has been way too safe and comfortable. When the polls started shifting, it forced her into a desperate interview with Fox News that she bombed and gave infinite ammo to the Republicans. We're at the stage now where even leftists can't watch her because of her boring repetitive circular answers that mention 0 policy, that's why all they do now is attack Trump in a desperate hope they can do something.

- Her team crafted an October Surprise that fell flat on it's face leaving her with no hope of gaining back the numbers she's lost for the past month. Made them look stupid.

- Trump and JD Vance going on numerous podcasts the past few weeks where they talk casually about life, spritialism and advice while mixing in their policies in a natural way. Kamala is incapable, she doesn't come across as genuine and refuses to go unscripted for longer than 30 minutes which podcasts require.

- She's slow and I don't mean just mentally, she gives herself so many days to prepare for even a simple 20 minute interview. She then parrots rubbish about her childhood and rarely about policy.

- Constant switching of accents/personality depending on what she talks about and where she is looks bad to voters.

This along with the economic parts I laid out earlier are why they are in such a mess:

- 700 million dollars spent on a candidate that withdrew a few months before the election, 700 million spent in a few months on the new candidate.

- The opponent spent 5 TIMES LESS than them.

- They wasted millions on gaming and other livestreams to appeal to young voters, who are polling for Trump better than almost every other age demographic.

- 10s of millions on attack ads on mainstream news outlets where almost all the viewers already hate Trump.

- Millions on paid celebrity endorsements which so far have had no effect on the polls at all.

- Millions on YouTube ads that everybody ignores because they want to watch the video they clicked on not some bullshit ad about how Kamala is a whore and Trump is Shitler.

- Millions on bribing TikTok accounts that get no views and all the zoomer viewers call them shills for doing so.

- Millions on Walz campaign rallies that draw 20 people and he goes on crazy rants and loses favorability every time.

- Millions in wages to political strategists that get the narrative wrong and then Kamala ignores them anyway and does word salad bs.

I doubt Joe Rogan would damage his brand like that. He's been very careful to set certain expectations for being a conversational based politics-lite intelligent show that dude bros can enjoy. It's been an incredibly successful format.

talking to the black guys at work about the election. They still absolutely hate the idea of a "black" woman in power.

There is huge resentment among black men towards the nasty "educated" black women running the schools and public/goverment jobs around the black community. Black women have been outpacing black men in colleges and white collar jobs for quite a while now.

Plus plenty of angry black women rag on black men for dating white women and/or refusing to marry black single mothers. The Kevin Samuels (RIP) call in show covered this extensively. There's a core section of black men that are sick of black women in general.

They aren't going to vote for megaracist trump obviously so they just aren't voting.

Voter turnout is always the danger with black voters for the Democrats. If they don't get black voters enthused, they don't bother voting in large numbers. Black women will come out at the usual rate for Harris, but black men may just stay home.

The argument falls apart when you ask them to define what machine-gun and assault-weapon means. Any gun is a machine. It’s an assault weapon the moment you decide to use it in self defense. If they passed a ban on fully automatic firing weapons I would be fine with that, but that’s not enough for them. Exactly, they're ideologically against the concept of gun ownership for the purposes of self-defense and they want to eliminate that option completely like they've done in the U.K.

He no longer has an exclusive contract with Spotify and was perfectly willing to repeatedly speak out against vaccine mandates in the face of massive leftists uproar, even going so far as to have Dr. Robert Malone on. I don't expect him to be an attack dog here, and even if he were there's little he could do that would make him worse than the corporate reporters that Trump routinely manhandles.

I wouldn't take the chance with a constitutional convention, but the wording could definitely be a little bit clearer. Something like:

Congress shall make no law regulating the importation, distribution, or private ownership of weaponry and munitions, or the right of the people to voluntarily organize into militias.

I'm sure the wording would eventually become antiquated over time, and you would have more gun grabbers pop up and start spreading lies about the intent.

Shall not be infringed is clear as day. Congress and the ATF need a pair of reading glasses.

I'm skeptical. People who impact at those speeds basically explode. Most falls (>50%) are fatal over 30 feet. Those falls take a while to kill, but they kill. Scryscraper height? Splat, blam, game over.

The report does say the woman splatted, everything lower than her ribs "unrecognizable".
For what it's worth, there are reports of people who've been beheaded retaining brain function enough to blink in response to questions for a minute or two after.
If she fell in such a way that her head, vocal cords, and lung were intact maybe she could vocalize for a minute or two after impact. I don't know.

In terms of suicide please keep in mind kiwis that most suicidal urges pass in 10-20 minutes. And people who've survived jumps said they regretted it on the way down. Just don't do it.
If you're depressed, keep in mind there are newer therapies showing a lot of promise. And a healthy diet and exercise can do wonders, potentially even more than antidepressants in some cases.

Worst comes to worse abandon your life, move to a new state, get a dog, and start over. Better than being dead.

Back to politics: I'll be voting tomorrow. I think I'll pass on the sticker though. I'm still nervous, but hopeful. I really want popular vote plus EC win. Landslide preferably.

All I will say about this article is this. Optimism is fine. Complacency is not. Demoralize your enemy without taking victory for granted. Kamala can still win. That's the mindset everyone should go into these final days. Vote like you're the last person that can swing the election.
