This is the last round. Best 2 out of 3. Trump has run thrice and lost once. If he loses again it's over for MIGA. He wont have the energy if he's even still alive in 2028 to run. If he wins he can name successors or try something crazy like attempt to extend the term limit. Everyone who voted for him wouldn't mind Emperor Trump. Vance or whoever Trump names as his replacement wont have the staying power, the Trump name is more memeable. The cult will inevitably splinter off but if Trump gets four more years it will drag on longer.

The more I'm watching this maga crap the more horrified I am. I liked Trump back in 2016 and I didn't believe all this Trump is a fascist dictator talk. Because at this point the word fascist had lost its meaning and I didn't and still don't trust the news. But over the years he got really weird and now he is a fucking dangerous loon. I don't think he was like that in 2016 tho.
Now so many of his former supporters turned his back on him and he is calling them all sorts of names. I believe Maga had good intentions but then turned into something extremly ugly. I also hate the cult of personality surrounding him. I'm convinced that if he loses many of cultists will riot and/or commit suicide and he will happy about it. Yes, it's funny to laugh about magatards but it's also sad. I still have a little bit of sympahty left for them. There is a reason why so many people supported Trump in the first place.
The interviews, as funny as they are, give a bit of insight. Yes, there are raging maga racists and actual evil mfers but I'd say most want what's best for the US and the world. Sadly they fell for Trump and are now stuck. They truly think he is their savior and evil forces are all against him. Even when confronted with the truth they don't believe it or make excuses. If Kamala or Biden do something it's bad but if Trump does the same it's ok. It's good that Hunter Biden was convicted because he is a criminal but Trump's conviction is bad because everything is corrupt and he is innocent.
I think Maga needs to end.

I'm personally very curious about what their reaction will be when he dies. I'd assume they'll think the deep state got him unless he dies of clearly natural causes 10 years from now after winning a second term. Still if the MAGA cultists are still around then and havent moved on to something else I expect we'll see North Korea like reaction at his state funeral.

Watch this, watch footage from that event he held yesterday about the border. He’s incoherent, and it’s getting worse by the day. Biden was forced out of the race for much less than this. Trump sounds like he was stuffed full of talking points and he cannot get them straight - few details, unorganized thinking, stammering, going off on tangents. Watch footage of him from last year, or even just a few months ago.

That's a fucking reach. Two of Lincoln's sons, Edward and William, did die when he was alive. Maybe check your own "basic history" Before criticising someone else. Tad also died young, though after Lincoln. Trump was talking about how sad he found it on a human level that much of Lincoln's life was so sad. And whether the photo on Lincoln's bedside was of one of his sons that died before him or the one that died just a few years after him, both are scenarios that could make you feel sad, when standing in their bedroom, preserved as it was from the time of his assassination.

I agree with your post except on this point. Trump and many of his supporters' views of the US and the world are skewed and wrong. They, in general, believe the US is trash right now. Garbage. Bottom of the barrel of the world. Many believe the only ways to fix this is to deport millions of non-whites, force christianity onto all Americans, destroy public education, and demand extreme loyalty from everyone. Many believe the federal government is filled with corruption and the way to fix it is to fire everyone and replace them all with people loyal to Trump and the Republican party, ignoring job experience and knowledge. Many also believe Russia is the country to emulate and Ukraine should be forced to capitulate. Many want to leave NATO and go back into a form of isolationism, leaving the world to fend for itself.
None of this is best for the US or the world. To me, it doesn't matter if they have been brainwashed for decades into these views. These are the views many hold and they will cripple the US and the world for decades if given the opportunity.

I think whoever wins will barely make it. Would not be surprised to see another outcome where 1 or 2 swing states take several days to certify.
I think the real big surprises will be NV going for Trump, Cruz keeping his senate seat in a stronger than expected performance and stronger turnout of non-white men for Trump.
