When I was back in school the argument made for this belief was usually along the lines of the SAT/ACT/etc. only tests skills that certain demographics are good at, like reading, writing, math and abstract reasoning and obviously blacks score lower on these tests because they're just as intelligent, but in different ways like having a better grasp of musicality and rhythm (an actual thing a teacher told me once). ...But that's the exact fucking point of those tests, to score people on shit that applies in academia. Asians score better than everyone else on them because they're generally better at those skills than other demographics, it's an ingrained part of their culture.

• Segued from I'm guessing TCaP and sovereign citizen videos to witnessing and hearing more and more abject niggotry every year especially since the 2020 Summer of Theft and Arson Love and I am eternally grateful to BLM for agitating so hard for BWCs

In conclusion:

Asians aren't even better on average. The ones in America just represent the cream of the ethnic crop.

They might have lower variance in intelligence but I'm not sure whether or not that's just a rightoid bro science meme.

Also in East Asian countries your test scores directly attributes your position/standing in your groups social hierarchy. Having bad test score is a way bigger deterent there than in the US.

I think that depends. I'm only speaking about Japan here but I've read that one can get bullied for having shitty grades but also bullied for having very exceptional grades. What a country.
