G5 is over but there is still the on-going G4 reinassiance, if anything there's an uptick in quality content.

Tamers is a gem.
I started using their (Tamers is probably a small group of people working collaboratively under a pseudonym) content to torture my frenemies, but began unironically enjoying it.
It's the Filthy Frank of parody animation; twisted, grotty lo-fi and weird, then just for a moment, the production values take an anomalous spike as if to say "See? if we really cared we could do it like THIS" then snaps back to retard-o vision just to spite the viewer.
I love it.
Some sort of Jedi mind trick seem to prevent Youtube from flagging their content as adult.
Which considering everything they do seems to be a loving parody of the worst excesses of bad fan fiction, that goes places you don't wanna go.
We're talking pederasty, incest, racism, poverty, disabilities, abusive power dynamics of all kinds, all the stuff wholesome family entertainment is made of.
Oh and butts.
Shitty unwiped butts.

Haven't watched it fully. Only seen small parts of it.
But from what I've seen, @Obstacle described it perfectly.

Comparing Tamers to Filthy Frank is golden, I never thought of that before but it does fit. It still remains a mystery if his retardation is a mere fake out or not.

Since I subscribe to the multi-tamers theory, I postulate that the Tamers collective may run the spectrum from utter irony to total sincerity, but when all that output goes into the same honey bucket and gets stirred up, it comes out like a well blended scotch.

My theory is they just did this to shake off the degen fandom, so they can reboot it again but this time for kids.

I know corporate execs. are notoriously out of touch, but even they would know the soil is still too contaminated to plant anything here for a while - the best comparison is as if Pigs have been desecrating a farm with their waste for 50 years.

It's going to take another Lauren Faust type reboot to salvage this mess.

No they're doing this to cash in on the existing (and larger) domestic G4 fanbase and the huge G4 surge in China. They're already going back to producing G4 content again.

There are few constants in the world than death, taxes and Hasbro being fucking idiots. Possibly due to being located in Rhode Island, the smallest and worst state in New England.
