I think Null's actual plan is just to ban anyone who applies.

So far it seems like a sincere call for moderators, and a lack of moderators has been a consistent pain he mentions in MATI.
I'm in favor of sanctions for everyone who applies with shitposts, but not for sincere applications.

Fair points. People volunteer their time and efforts, but many people have responsible jobs at “politically correct” companies that pays their bills.

Okay, my suggestions was dumb and trashcans deserved but I do feel like over moderation/too many posts being removed/people being banned is at a bigger risk of happening than total anarchy/troons spamming the place with NSFW furry inflation porn or something but I may be wrong.

The best janny is one who does such a good job that the board is great with no annoying spam or other junk but you never even really know they are there.

You will mostly just merge posts and convert full images into thumbnails. Creating a good user experience is by-and-large rather easy
